ParkTrips
Hey everybody! This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at Flamingo land, this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of the park as well as past updates, see TPR's Park Index Page. Official Park Website Below are some links to past updates from the park, you may be interested in. Hercules
I don't know anything, but dear God, stop building SLCs. Thanks Joe, you just ruined my day, another SLC in the world.
Jak
I think if i'm not mistaken, its a clone of shenlin at happy valley. http://www.rcdb.com/qs.htm?quicksearch=shenlin

JamminJ
Not worth getting rid of Bullet.
ParkTrips
Oh my I didn't even see that! I am now saddened (... and pissed! )
SharkTums
I'll believe it when I see it though. Flamingoland has been threatening to take out Bullet and Magnum Force since 2002 now! I also agree that Bullet is amazing and should stay put but let's wait and see what actually happens.
Shockwave
The Bullet is up for sale: http://www.interlink-lg.com/UsedRides/RC.html#1 Along with Magnum Force, Black Hole, and a few other rides. Who'd want buy it is another story - not many parks would take on an ageing coaster with increasing maintainance costs.
ParkTrips
I would be beyond sad if I missed out on both Schwarzkopf's! However, I think the same thing applies to Magnum Force about being in the never-ending removal rumors. - Joe the Schwarzkopf lover 8)
Stitch
Well if Bullet does get sold I hope it finds a nice new home, I'd take moving the coaster over demolishing it any day. As for the new SLC, I think it looks fair and I wonder if it will valley like Jubilee Odyssey did.
viking86
I wonder if anyone will buy Bullet and Magnum Force. From what I have heard, the park hasnt taken much care of them and that they are in very bad condition. And spare parts for Schwarzkopf coasters cant be easy to get. SharkTums
I think that most schwarzkopfs go to South America to die.
FishyFish
I saw a rumour on some site or other that Flamingo Land was going to be getting a wooden coaster too but I've yet to see anything to confirm it.
ParkTrips
And spare parts for Schwarzkopf coasters cant be easy to get. His son (Weiland) is continuing the business and sells part for his father's rides. They aen't that hard to get... I think that most schwarzkopfs go to South America to die. I know
Stitch
I really hope it Bullet doesn't go to South America, hopefully Six Flags will buy it and bless one of their small parks with it.
What Now
Bullet wasn't in the flyer for Flamingland, when I checked (unfortunalty I didn't keep it).

And obviously thanks for this video! But loads of thanks go to Robb & Elissa for bringing us their TPR "Exclusive" construction tour video of Kumali! astroworldfan
Thanks for the post. Great pics and Video. It looks like a FUN Vekoma I did however notice an "UUUH" during the final break run.. Cool Theming. I always like a new coaster. Its kinda like a new car.
martinb
Yeah I liked the themeing too! Them trains did seem to have a "new style" look to them Apparantly this is a smooth coaster I'll give it a year!
WildMouse
Looks fantastic (will look even better when the theming's completed). Hopefully I'll make the 4 hour trek up to Flamingoland later in the year. The park has already come along in leaps and bounds since my first visit in 2004. It's turning into a 'true' theme park and is no longer a glorified fun fair.
cfc
Thanks for the link--Kumali looks great. Looking forward to checking it out in June.
Imhotep
I really like the painting on the supports. Its really simple, but sets this coaster off nicely.
speedracer
Yeah, all the little themed details really make it look impressive. Love the rock covered footers and the support paint scheme, very nice, thanks for the link! How's the zero-G roll compare to a B&M? Love the whipping snap roll action of early B&M's, their new forceless design like on SB where it just forcelessly rolls through the inversion without any laterals was the biggest disappointment of SB for me. DerekRx
Wow! Though its not finished yet, the theming on Kumali looks like its going to be really good. Could it be that I'm actually looking forward to riding a Super SLC?! It IS, hard to believe huh!? I'm looking forward to June, though I gotta wonder if the yellow in the supports will attract those mustard bugs.
