Is this a real question? I think a lot of people still don't know of Mello Yello's existence, and who is going to pick store brand on anything besides price. A better third choice would have been Sun Drop. Save Surge while were at it.

Mountain Dew is like crack; it's the real-world equivalent of Slurm (though Dew probably is an alien secretion as well).

 

Not the drink Alien Secretion, made with rum, pineapple juice, midori, and a splash of grenadine (diabetes in a cocktail shaker, basically)...

Mountain Dew is the best soda. Period... Code Red, Livewire, and Baja Blast are all good (still haven't had the new flavors yet), but the original will always come out on top. Not even Coke's knockoff soda can compare. Vault comes pretty close.

 

Too bad it's loaded on sugar and high in caffeine. I could drink that stuff all day.

As the leader of the Mountain Dew fan club the classic Dew is by far the most refreshing of the lot.

 

Unfortunately, I have to say, Peach Mello Yelllo is quite nice.

I'm a huge Diet Moutain Dew drinker. I'll admit that Mello Yello Zero is pretty tasty as well, but I definitely favor Dew.
