monicajor Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Just downloaded Tapatalk, and so far I like it!! Have never tried accessing forums from my phone before, because it just seemed like too big of a pain in the butt. This is far more user-friendly!!
skiisncoasterz Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Tapatalk is not only running well on my Gen 1 Kindlke Fire. Its running now even better on my kindle fire using Android 4.2 Jellybean. Its no longer running that nonsense amazon put on it.
gisco Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I'm starting to use it on my iPad and iPhone. Going to take a while to get used to it.
neovortex2k Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Just started today with android and seems OK so far.
arby Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I tested it previously and it worked well on my iPhone. I'm just starting to really use it now so I can keep up on the forums more when I am away from my computer. Hopefully that will help me keep more active.
gisco Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 I was playing with it last night and couldn't upload a photo. Something I'm doing wrong?
coaster-mm Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 ^Hmm....can't see your picture on my Iphone Robb. (as well as a lot of other pictures in various topics) Am i doing something wrong? Thanks, Paul
robbalvey Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 Hmm... You're right. I can upload a photo with the app, but they are appearing broken when you view the post. Let me look into this. Another test. See if you can see this photo in the app;
Groteslurf Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 No, can't see it. Actually, I can't see any picture with the app. I have to go to webview to see the pictures. YouTube links I can see, pictures I can't.
coaster-mm Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Nope. Can't see the picture. You posted an update about margaritaville @ USO this morning but i can't see any of those pictures as well ( just 1 example i can think of now). Paul
coaster-mm Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Hmm....I can't even see the picture that I posted myself in this topic ( 10-5-13 ). Paul
robbalvey Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 Yeah, looks like they might have changed something with an update. We'll look into it ASAP.
robbalvey Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Looks like we resolved that bug. I can now see photos in Tapatalk.
traincrossin Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I've been using Tapatalk recently and I'm getting that picture error. Sometimes posts show them, other times they don't. Like I couldn't see any of the City Museum pictures in Hanno's thread.
robbalvey Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Looks like photos that are placed "inline" are working, but ones that are just "attachments" are not. Will look into this... Inline: Inline Attachment: Attachment
simaticable Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Tapatalk works great when I'm not home! Thanks for including TPR on it.
arby Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Testing photo upload now that I configured it properly. EDIT: Worked perfectly. This is almost easier than using the computer.
DougMJr Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Photos seem to be working fine here since the update.
805Andrew Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 Photo test Edit: Wow! Works great and so easy!
rctneil Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 I wonder if there is a way to redirect links in email reply notifications to open the tapatalk app rather than the forum in a mobile browser. I'll have a scout around and see what I can find as that could be very very useful. There could be a form of a URL protocol scheme for it like tapatalk://
