Has anything been going on at Windseeker as far as the removal process?

Windseeker removal will not start until Haunt is over.

Windseeker removal will begin in January, at least that's what they tell us employees.

^ That makes sense as all of the Holiday crowds will be gone and Jan-Mar is the slowest part of the year.

Any idea on whats going in Windseekers place? Thats a pretty decent amount of land especially if they use the water around it. I could see a euro fighter going there (using where Windseeker sat, the queue area, some of the water and some of the Fiesta Village walkway) and I think that would be a perfect addition for Knotts.

I really doubt Knott's is going to shove a Eurofighter in there. Plus, I don't think there's enough space for even the smallest Eurofighter model.

I can't imagine it being anything other than another flat ride.

I kinda wish they'd get rid of most of Fiesta Village and start over. Keep Montezooma and that's about it.

Wes I totally agree BUT I'd like for them to keep the Hat Dance or at least move it and I think moving the marry go round would be a good decision too. If they got rid of Fiesta Village and kept just Monte (probably Jaguar too even though I think they should get rid of it) that would open up a LOT of room for a good size coaster (It's been 10 years they NEED a good coaster now. I'm not saying a giga but they need a good coaster) and I think they would benefit from that a lot more than what's there right now. In fact they could probably re-locate The Hat Dance, El Revolution, Wave Swinger and even the merry go round throughout the park if they really wanted to. Other than those rides all that's there is the arcade/gift shop and the 3 mexican walk up food places (one next to Hat Dance, one next to Windseeker and the one attached to the gift shop/arcade). They also have the dancing square but they could move that to another area of the park.

I still think an air race would be cool, seems like the perfect size spot for one too.

If Knott's removed Jaguar, they'd have a good footprint for a customized Eurofighter. I can see why families like Sierra Sidewinder and Coast Rider, but Jaguar is just boring and rough, it's never been good. It would also clear up some of that ugly "forest" of coaster supports.

 

Does the carousel get many riders?
