Teddymonster Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Oh geez...religion. I am sooooo not going there.
BelizeIt Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Well I hope he doesn't travel to California on vacation and get a soda from the local In-N-Out-Burger. Because on the bottom of those cups they always have a variety of Bible Quotes!
Erik Johnson Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 People are too easily offended these days, or find ways to be offended.
J man Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 That has got to be the most retarded news story I've ever read. IT'S AN ICE CREAM LID! I swear people get offended too easily these days.
ShoubraStreet74 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 I'm a muslim and think this is ridiculous. I would never get offended by something like that. I see all kinds of crap everyday alot more offensive than this and don't mind. Well, it seems some people are just more easily offended than others. It's sad that something as stupid as this can happen and end up on the news...
Mr.Six Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 I wish the world worked different. Tell the him that its a swirl and tell him if he dosen't like it to take the lid off.
CoasterFanatic Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 With all respect to Allah and the Muslim religion. A Jihad on Burger King ..... you most be kidding.
Angry_Gumball Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 In N Out is next in line to offend those who don't follow the Bible.
FlyingScooter Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Great free advertising! Maybe they should change their name to Burger Mecca... well, maybe not. This could add a new twist on the old 'burger Wars'.
PhishyBrewer Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Give me a break! ...off that Kit Kat bar
SFMM rocks my socks Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 That is the dumest thing i have heard in a month.
DenDen Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 It's not the everyday joe that get's offended, it's the radical. They fail to point that out. He's probably a terrorist too.
Teddymonster Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 It's not the everyday joe that get's offended, it's the radical. They fail to point that out. He's probably a terrorist too. Didn't the threat of an impending jihad give that away?
crispy Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 OMG, he's making this his JIHAD, he must not get out much, there are WAY more offensive things in life than a burger king lid, I don't know, lets see, Porno, why not Jihad against that, at least it makes a TON more sense
Imhotep Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 The worst part about the whole article to me, is that even after BK said they would remove the offending symbol for this one guy, and apoligized profusely, it still didnt satisfy him.. He decides to do something rediculous like stage his own 'Jihad' in a form of protest against bk. That just makes me wonder.. what the hell is good enough?! You just cant satisfy people sometimes. His whole goal was probably just to get media attention for this anyways.
DATman Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 lol-I can just see scores of people starting an actual war against burger king-and they would theow the offensive ice cream at the clerks. some people are just too radical for their own good
