I voted for "Tear down Grizzly and Demon and build a hyper.". It has pretty much no chance of happening, but while on the subject Nor Cal needs an amazing ride like a hyper and it would be especialy good at PGA instead of SFMW. I don't know why tearing down the park and using the money to make the other Paramount Parks better because I think the Paramount chain has wonderful parks.

B&M Dive Machine, now that a flyer is hitting the west coast, mind as well get the rest of B&M's catlaog over there.

Either that or an Intamin mega like Expedition Ge Force, just something they can call a signature ride, and something different for the area.

I think their proximity to the San Jose Airport has kept them from getting anything much taller than Drop Zone and the observation tower. The park is rather space challenged, too.

They should dump Grizzly and get a good woodie. It doesn't have to be a big one (think Knoebels' Phoenix).

I would like to see people enjoy the park and realize it can be here one day and gone the next. So what they dont have 16 coasters or 24 thrill rides, its still a fun place with enough to keep you busy for a theme park day!

PGA will not tear down Grizzly anytime soon, it still gets good ridership. PGA Is very landlocked, but they do have a few options.

As EBL mentioned, the park is stuck @ a 225 Ft Height Limit due to the route of the airport going directly over the park.

I would love to see a small hyper go in behind Xtreme Skyflyer and near the Imax. Really no need to remove any other coaster, you could easily fit a station back there, and a nice length coaster that stretched all the way back towards Grizzly.

Actually, the height restrictions are different for different areas. I believe that near the sky tower it's 225 but back towards Drop Zone, it's smaller since it's nearer to the airport. Drop Zone is 5 feet below the height restriction, so if anyone knows that that would be the height restriction at that point.

I wouldn't mind them tearing down the Grizzly and building a coaster kind of based on the layout, but better. You know, a double out and backer would be great, just have a few more drops and make it more like a coaster than an earthquake. Or just keep it, make it worse, and put up a chiropractor stand outside of the exit.

About the hyper, they could easily demolish the IMAX building since it's in disuse and put the station there and then all they'd need is a good 15 feet width down the side of the park then have a turnaround somewhere. Demon's got space for supports and it could be built through even with all it's slim supports if needed. Would love to see a drop through the 2nd corkscrew and through the old train tunnel, would be a great part of any ride.

I have nothing against taking away credits, but I voted for killing the park and giving money to the rest of the chain. Lets face it...Paramount needs some improvement. Even though its nice for them to be making theyre chain into family parks, in the world of today, peeps need thrills. So what have they done? (atleast in PKI)

*Removed KC (one of the best coasters I've ever ridden)

*Removed some flyers that could have stayed, as theyre space is unoccupied...

Im sure I could think of more, but not right now....But seriously, PKI NEEDS something good, especially if the rumors for VorteX's destruction are true. If thats the case, I'd just say put PKI into the same catagory I voted for on this pole...

I voted other. Cost are always a problem for parks. So here's my idea. Keep Demon it is a pretty good arrow looper. Rember Grizzly was built as a family coaster. It wasn't meant to have laterials or air time. It did seem to be running a little smoother this year. On one weekend it had 45 min wait to ride so it still pulls people in. So my plan for Grizzly; It should be reworked making the first and second hills steeper. This would result in putting more speed on the coaster through the later part of the course. Adding Laterials in the corners and some possible air time on the hills. Pictorium has sat unused long enough so lets put a spinning mouse (or other coaster) and theme it in there. or maybe some other dark ride. Could be installed in there as they only have a sponge bob 4D. Or at least start using Pictorium again. As it is one of the larger Imax screens. My $.02 and worth every penny

I just really thought it was horrible when they took down stealth the paramount park here is like that bad one but we do have SFMW

IMO, Grizzly needs to go. I question myself as to why I ride the damn thing every time I go to the park. A wooden coaster more similar to Roar at SFMW would be a huge improvement. My biggest complaint about the coasters at PGA is that they're all just too short in terms of ride length. Something along the lines of California Screamin' is what I'd really like to see built. That'd mean losing more than just Grizzly though, so I have mixed feelings about a larger coaster.
