Blatch Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 That B&M Floorless they put in there looks like a larger version of Batman: The Dark Knight at Six Flags New England, only with a different (and rather strange) first drop. Of course, any country that can put one of these in their park deserves high praise, and the ride, plus the Premier LSM dark ride coaster, look like fun rides.
Jackdude101 Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Oh and by the way, here's some infos about Deep Space I took at the EAS: Â Excellent find, sir. I notified rcdb.com of these findings. Deep Space has been almost a complete mystery until now.
jray21 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Great stuff! Excited to see the finished products. I hope to get out there someday!
rtilley93 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Update: the park's B&M Floorless coaster (Nitro) opened today and there is a page for it now up on the Adlabs Imagica Website. Â News article
jedimaster1227 Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 Looks like a fun little B&M! Reminds me a lot of the Batman - The Dark Knight at Six Flags New England...
Jackdude101 Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 The official launch page for Nitro can be found here: http://park.adlabsimagica.com/nitro-launch. Â I especially love the unintentionally comical audio. My favorite phrase from it is, "...just you and your deepest, darkest fears on a one-way trip...to HELL!" (dun dun dun). Â Here are Nitro's official stats from rcdb.com and the Adlabs Imagica website (both places have incomplete data, but are complete when they are combined): Â Opened: 9 October 2013 Height: 132 feet Length: 2,800 feet Speed: 65.2 mph Inversions: 5 Ride time: 150 seconds Cars per train: 6 Â For those wondering why Nitro only has 6-car trains, it's because Nitro is a "smaller" floorless model (for B&M) like Daemonen at Tivoli Gardens, which also has 6-car trains.

Yeah, the ride is 132 feet tall, there's not really anything small about it. Whatever the reason for the short trains it is not the size of the coaster. Much more likely the way it was designed or customer request.

Much more likely the way it was designed or customer request. Mre cars means more $ for maintaining so I think it would be a reason. Plus the first drop might have some ejector on the back row if the train gets longer which I think it's really "not B&M" so B&M shortened the trsin to make it "B&M" Just guessing...
rtilley93 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 A newer offride video of Nitro has found its way onto Youtube which shows the entire coaster from start to finish. Â
rcjp Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Funny, it's king of weird to see such short B&M trains given that this is not a really small coaster. Looks good, though.
jedimaster1227 Posted October 20, 2013 Author Posted October 20, 2013 It looks like the trains really fly through the course on this one! Looks great!
The Yeti Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I really like the first drop on this one. It looks like it could good g's and even give some airtime!
jray21 Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 It does look like it runs through the course pretty quick for a B&M.
mrlego611 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I saw the advert for the ride. It's tagline made me laugh so hard. "Are you man enough?" Shouldn't it be "Are you BRAVE enough?" Still seems like a cool ride, though.
The Yeti Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I found a POV of their indoor Premier Launch coaster. Looks pretty good, maybe better than Rock N Rollercoaster! Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNUL4T2GoIs
RideofSteel Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Wow! That does look like a really good little coaster. I would love to see more Premiers being built... They have been building some really cool stuff lately.
TheAmazingCP Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I can't tell whether Nitro is actually that much faster than normal B&Ms or if it just looks faster because of the shorter trains. Either way, it looks like a great ride.
rcjp Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 For some reason I get the idea that lighter trains achieve higher speeds on the drops more easily but then lose more than the heavier ones in the high elements. I don't know why but that's the feeling I get, sometimes with floorless vs sitting models (does anyone know if floorless trains are heavier than sitting ones? They somehow look that way but I'm not sure). Anyway, if they have less rows they at least appear to move a bit more quickly through some elements (to me).
neovortex2k Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Wow Nitro really goes fast around the track. To me it kind of looks like a mini Dragon Khan.
A.J. Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Deep Space certainly looks like a better roller coaster than Rock n' Roller Coaster but I think that Rock n' Roller Coaster would be a better complete experience (queue + pre-show + coaster). But obviously I haven't been to India, so...
jray21 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I know this may be a lot to ask, but is there any official POV of this ride yet?
rcjp Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 ^Not that I know of as I've been regularly checking for new videos and I've seen nothing.
