gerstlaueringvar Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 ^ It IS pretty boring. They could certainly add a little bunny hop at the flat track after the first lift.
coastercrazy216 Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 ^ It's an Arrow coaster. Are you sure you really want track that isn't flat and straight?
eddie200330 Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 ^ It's an Arrow coaster. Are you sure you really want track that isn't flat and straight? But it does come with a nice view. 2 lifts and some straight track give the rider time to take in the scenery!
Woodie Warrior Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Definitely River King Mine Train @ SFSTL. I'd love to see a ride similar to FireChaser Express replace it, because its layout is awful, slow, boring, and it has 3 lifts.
ArizonaGuy Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 ^^ I will agree with that totally. River King Mine Train has got to be the most boring Mine train I've ever been on and didn't make sense.
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 ^^Despite for the historical value of Runaway Mine Train, I think Runaway Mine Train is the most boring one.
screaminkid2005 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I have always thought that Maurer Söhne Sky Loops have the strangest layouts. And after X Coaster this past summer, I can stand by that statement.
cfc Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 ^They are bizarre-looking rides, but are surprisingly good.
Projektion Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Though it is a clone of Oblivion, the layout of Diving Machine G5 at Janfusun Fancyworld looks odd and somewhat unnatural as it is much more elevated than Oblivion's. Seeing that picture makes me realise how big a drop oblivion really has. I mean, seeing the small bit of Oblivion sticking out of the ground makes it hard to believe the drop is almost as tall as Sheikra.

Except for the surprise drop.
rolercstrluvr Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 One that stands out for me would have to be CCMR, sure it was a nice ride but it's not a ride that people would always talk about.
Kansansas Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I think people forget how unusual of a layout The Beast is from time-to-time. Ya beast is definitly different but when I was watching a POV on youtube it looked like their was a launch is there? No there is not. The trim brakes look like it though.
Coaster19 Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 ^^I will agree with that totally. River King Mine Train has got to be the most boring Mine train I've ever been on and didn't make sense. Question: I keep hearing that river king mine ride was a stand up at one point? Is that correct or was it replaced completely by river king mine ride?? I agree it takes up way to much space.

They ran stand up trains for, as far as I remember, three seasons and took the old trains back.

Even the park realized how ridiculously strange and boring it was, so they had to find some way to try and spruce it up

It just shows how big Oblivion actually is. I love how high over the park you are on the overbank after the drop on G5 though, nicer then being in a concrete tunnel.
thrillrider Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I would have to say adventure express at kings island. Talk about a disappointing ending to a coaster.
