RCT3Bross Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Love it. I must say I generally love the B&M winged coaster trains look. Many themed versions made them look awesome. Favorite themed winged coaster trains: 1. Gardaland: Raptor. 2. Thorpe park: Swarm. 3. Ocean kingdom: Flying over the Rainforest. Looking forward to ride one in 2013. Anyway A other great picture Hanno.
Musketeer Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 ^ Me too! Something about the wingrider trains is so appealing to me! Also, I love going through this thread. There are some amazing pictures in here.
Hhappy Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 Time for another coaster (and picture) Magic Mountain - Gardaland
JRHcoasterki Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 ^Great photo! How does this run with the new-style trains?
FreeFaller Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 ^In my opinion they are very comfortable compared to the older ones!
RCT3Bross Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 These type of trains made me chance my favorite coaster at my home park. Funny that it has the same lay-out as magic mountain but is much older (The Python at the Efteling).
Hhappy Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Fritt Fall at Grona Lund always presents some cool photo ops. Just look at these folks coming down going down... brakes..
StealthFan Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I am so glad that these are drop tower pictures that im not in! Me and stand up drop towers do not get on!
cfc Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Tonight on "Ow! My Balls!" Scottish Steve visits an amusement park.
scbt Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 The real question remains... who thought a stand up floorless drop tower was a good idea?
jray21 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Love the amazing faces! That is definitely how it feels!
Hhappy Posted February 7, 2013 Author Posted February 7, 2013 Time for a bit more Scandi trip 09. I could not decide between the wet fun that was Falken and another late day shot of Insane.. Both fun moments during a fun trip... wet Falken ride Insane.. hmmm
ernierocker Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Really looking forward to Insane next year! (among a million other things on the Scandi trip)
SharkTums Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I remember staying warm and dry in the station while everyone was riding and passing the sword on Falken. Hilarious fun! Was there any day we didn't have the 'most amazing day ever' on that Scandi Trip?!?
Meteornotes Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Yes, every day of that Scandi trip was amazing fun, even when we were wet and freezing. Cannot wait until we can do it again next year! dt
mikeykaise Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Falken in the rain reminds me of my best ever ride on Voyage... I had just sat down in my seat in the station and before we rolled out of the station the sky broke open. I was drenched as soon as we hit the bottom of the dip right in front of the lift hill of the Voyage at HDW. It was the most intense, slipperiest, fastest ride ever on the Voyage and who knew rain drops could hurt so much!
Hhappy Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 Just came across this image from Karolinelund. TPDave, care to explain?
ernierocker Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Looks like he just got punched in the nuts.
Hhappy Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 More from the Scandi 09 trip never hurts (i guess) How about some Kanonen? Looking forward to my next visit to Liseberg 2 trains in one picture
cfc Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Looking forward to my next visit to Liseberg Who isn't? One of the best parks anywhere!
