simon8899 Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Tornado is my fav inverted coaster - clearly better than the SLCs and offering more fun and force than the B&Ms. Also thanks for the Disney photo - will be in there soon....
cfc Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Great photo, Hanno. I still have yet to check out the Christmas stuff in Orlando.
Hhappy Posted November 19, 2012 Author Posted November 19, 2012 How about 2 images today? These are from the 07 Midwest trip.. it's Voyage smiles always helps make the day go faster. fun times..
ernierocker Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 2007. The ride was still running well right?
Hhappy Posted November 19, 2012 Author Posted November 19, 2012 2007. The ride was still running well right? Yeah it was not that bad (at that time) but also not as special for me as some folks (already) claimed..
Hhappy Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Big Grizzly Mountain at Hong Kong Disney was a nice surprise (and finish) to the China Trip
ernierocker Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Looks like they did a great job with landscaping around the ride as well!
Guy T. Koepp Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 It's very picturesque. It looks like there are tons of places from which to get great pictures. I will ride one day. I hope.
CpBluestreakCp Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 It looks like a beautiful and fun ride. Hopefully I'll get the chance to ride it one day.
Moose Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Looks like they did a great job with landscaping around the ride as well! A lot of the landscaping looks immature (no shock there) I suspect it will be amazing once it all has grown in!
cfc Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 It's an excellent Disney coaster and a great addition to Hong Kong Disneyland.
Hhappy Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Today it's time for a classic... Let me know which ride this is
Anac0nda Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 It's Balder! Seriously, look at the layout!
Hhappy Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 ^Leap the Dips at Lakemont yep.. that's the one. Guess it was too easy.. (or nobody cared grin) anyway. Let's go back to Sweden and Gronalund Looking forward to the next Scandi trip (and see how Twister aged)
simon8899 Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I personally rate Twister even over Balder as the layout is more twisty and offers good airtime - while Balder falls behind for example Colossos as far as Intamin pre-fabs go. And of course you've Jetline - the amazing big brother of Alpina-Bahn!
Hhappy Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 Another park i don't mind visiting is Europa Park. New coaster for 2012 was Wodan. here's 2 more images from opening weekend.
theonetheonlyJT Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 What an awesome looking coaster at a great looking park
CoasterKings908 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Wodan looks amazing and I really like how they painted the footers in the splash pool blue.
Hhappy Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 Hershey has a fun collection of rides. One of them is a racing woodie
sspaz1000 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Somehow I got 12 pages behind again. But I loved all the pictures! And yay lightning racer at Hershey. I love that ride!
bottom_feeder_13 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I love Lightning Racer and that pic is great. The only bad part of the ride is the lack of photo opportunities.
eddie200330 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Lightning Racer = 1 of the greatest woodies ever made!!!!! ECB 15 + night rides = AWESOME!!!! I honestly think something like this would've made more sense for CP with the beach location available instead of Gatekeeper......
ernierocker Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Yeah, Lighting Racer makes for a great ERT session.
Voxelmatic Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Yay for a Hanno shot of my favorite wooden coaster!
