I like the wheel off the track! Those are awesome rides. I don't understand why they don't build one in the US.

Ugh, it just annoys me seeing these awesome pictures of Megalites and knowing that I have to travel to Asia or Europe for one!!!!

^Same. I wonder why U.S. parks haven't given these a shot. Hell, spinning mouse coasters, Boomerangs, and Eurofighters have sprouted like weeds in this country.

I think I can explain. Just like our serving sizes, everything we have needs to be huge in size.

^I don't think that's the case. Looks at smaller regional parks.

We don't have any mega lites because no US park has ordered one. For one reason or another, parks have found other ride options to more suit their interests.

Plus, aren't Mega-Lites a bit on the expensive side when compared to Eurofighters or Boomerangs? That is also an important factor to consider.

This was my first ever Mega-Lite and absolutely loved it, nice speed, incredible airtime, compact layout, fast lifthill, great ride.

You can't really say anything bad about them at all. I think I rode this one between 10-14 times during the day and would have ridden it more if I could!

How about a looping Toboggan??

still can't believe somebody thought this was a "good" idea

lots and lots of fun though (when not riding)

and the extra padding while riding made it even more awesome ;)

^The head padding was "optional," if you knew how to say "no thank you" in Chinese (as Elissa found out).

My head protection popped off of my head when the car engaged the lift hill due to my large head size. I placed the head protection between my knees so I could still hold on with both hands. I was first to ride and it was not until the coaster approached the loop that I suddenly wondered if the head protection was actually required and let my feelings known....

Great photos as always.
