Fire2box Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 like 15-16 topgun/flight deck at CGA. Rode Demon before that but it was rough and likely would of made me not want to ride others.
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 3, I just stared at that Loop&Screw at Pearl Land for an hour
MagnumFreak25 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Probably when I was about four, I had this near my house and took a trip to Disney World and to Lego-land California. My first real coaster would have been Jackrabbit and Racer at Kennywood when I was about 7.
GCI Wooden Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I started to love looking at coaster at 6 or 7 years old and I heard about Cedar Point, but I didn't start to enjoy riding them until 13 years of age. Now I can't get enough of them.
dippindotsguy8 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I've been fascinated with them for as long as I can remember, but I actually used to hate riding anything that had drops on it. I probably started actually liking coasters at around 8 or 9 years old, when I had my first ride on Valleyfair's Corkscrew.
YoshiCraft2011 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I think I started loving coasters at 10. We were at our Knott's summer vacation. I really wanted to ride GhostRider, but it was closed for maintenance. However, I took my first ride on Montezooma's Revenge and my first (and last) ride on Perilous Plunge. Oh, it was good fun. Now, I just wanted to ride more coasters!
Diamondbacker27 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I didn't mind coasters when I was little. I'm pretty sure I've always enjoyed them and got on Vortex @ KI without blinking an eye. I was even by myself. Then, I went until I was 10 and my parents took us to KI and I was forced to ride Inverdigo. I was super duper scared and I was begging them to let me off. I'm not sure why I was scared if I've rode vortex. ( I believed Final Destination at that point.) but after it was over I've been that annoying coaster kid ever since.
Sharman19 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I was 10 when I started to love coasters. Believe it or not, it started with RCT!
ejot Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Rode my first coaster when I was 8, my second when I was 20, and my third when I was 28. Since then well over a hundred more so I guess it's safe to say I fell in love with coasters at 28. Interestingly, my second ride was Phoenix at Knoebels, you'd think that'd be the one to get me hooked.
TheCoasterKid211 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 My first coaster was Scorpion at Busch Gardens Tampa, I rode it when I was about 4. The ride isn't really popular nowadays, but it's still near & dear to my heart.
Whizzer Whiz Kid Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I was about 11. It all started with the American Eagle at SFGAm.
CoasterMateo Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I was 9, rode Gemini for the first time.
BeansproutMidget Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I was 8-9 when I rode the little Wild Mouse at Idlewild. I enjoyed it a lot (even for a vekoma), but we never traveled out to Kennywood or Hershey at the time we lived in PA, so I never rode any bigger coasters, and lost my love for'em. When I was eleven, we moved to VA. I went to KD with some cousins and rode Dominator, and that reginited my love of coasters. Now we're here. Â So, I guess you could say I was eleven.
DJeXeL Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Oddly enough I was terrified of Roller coasters until about 17.
Mr.Peabody Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I was 2 and a half. That was my first visit to Crystal Beach. I vividly remember riding the Little Dipper in Kiddie Land and riding the Airborne (Paratrooper) in front of the Laff In the Dark and loved them both. I don't remember my first ever ride on the Giant Coaster, but it was my favorite until I was tall enough to ride the Comet.
