There might be spoilers ahead for people that haven't played MGS4... including me, but I wouldn't know...

 

Holy crap. I just saw a video of the scene in MGS4 where Snake is going through the microwave tunnel in the splitscreen mode... It's freakin' scary. I think it would mean more if I knew the characters, but how it shows them all panicking and dying right in front of you, it's still intense.

Activision just released the trailer for Guitar Hero Metallica and it is freakin awesome.

^I bet these artists never would have guessed in a million years that they would have to peddle their music by being in a video game. Heck Aerosmith should remember when programs were written on stacks of punch cards and fed through a machine (ok, I remember it too in middle school... and the PET computer with the whopping 8k of memory ) .

PS: In regards to musicians using video games to peddle their music.

(Journey was king of selling via video games in the early-mid 80's)

(Aerosmith had a fixed gun shooter game in the early 90's)

(Kiss had their own pinball machine)

(So did Elton John (as Captain Fantastic))

(Crap, I tried to forget about the Moonwalker game completely and failed)
