Sean Menefee Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Back to work after a long weekend. I need to look into buying some new ice skates on my lunch break today. I'm thinking a stiff new pair of Graf Supra 707's.
terrancew_hod Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Finally recovering from volunteering/party weekend. Need vitamins and to soak my feet! Â My roommate couldn't go to work at the mall today because it's on lockdown... someone robbed an armored truck! Tells you how bad the economy is because that's the first time I've heard someone do that in South Florida! Â Terry
Terror-Penguin Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Coursework, coursework, bloody coursework, ARGH!! I've English, IT, Product Design and Science coursework, I'm having a rest because if I type anymore, I'll slam my eye into an upturned pen on my desk in boredom.
bspellx5 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 I was at Wal Mart this evening and needed one thing, hoping to in an out of there within ten minutes, but there was one cashier open and 3 people in front of me, all with lots of stuff. And to make that situation worse, the person 2 spots in front of me was trying to use counterfeit money, and they had security people come, and everyone made a big scene, so i ended up being in there for 45 minutes, just to get a new cellphone charger.
onewheeled999 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 ^ Things just tend to happen that way. Believe me. Â I don't understand this whole "Youtube Poop" thing. People get hundreds of thousands of views for copying and pasting and redubbing crappy Nintendo cartoons or editing them into other clips. They're not funny, get over it. It's almost as bad as playing the games the cartoons were from... Â --Eric (Hotel Mario, Wand of Gamelon, Faces of Evil, oh my!) B.
AllenA07 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I've got a Criminal Procedure final today... I've been studying since the middle of October, and yet I still don't feel prepared.
thrillgeek Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I stayed the night at a friends house last night. So this morning we're woken up by a bunch a latinos banging and hammering something right outside the window at 8:30 in the f***ing morning!! Find something else to do jeez...
sixflagsguy5 Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Two things for me: Â First thing is I have a track meet at iowa state tomorrow and my new pole hasn't come in yet for pole vauilting, so I either have to jump on a really soft (bendy) pole and not jump as high or I can try to get up on a bigger pole from a longer run which I haven't done this year. I need to jump 15'6" to travel with the team and I've only jumped 15'1" so I'd like to go on the bigger pole and jump higher, but it scares this crap out of me. Â Second thing is my roomate!!!!! ahhhh. He's a such a -bag. He's only taking 12 credits and he's already taken calc 1, so he really doesn't have to do that much work. He wakes up at noon. Goes to a few classes, comes back, plays call of duty across the hall, gets dinner, comes back, plays more call of duty, and then goes to bed really early. Talk about a major slacker. How does he expect to get an engineering degree by being that lazy? Plus his girlfriend looks like a dog- seriously, if i had to chose I would rather make out with my black lab (no joke).
Elaine Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 UGH, it's definately gotta be my mum's boyfriend's habit of either tapping, whistling, doo-be-sooing, pom pomming, tsch tsching, blah blah blahing ETC. It's gets on my nerves soooo muchhh!!!
terrancew_hod Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 1. My sinuses are infected again... to the point of bleeding several times a day. Good thing I'm relaxing this weekend; it would have been a disaster while volunteering. Â 2. Maintaining multiple computers. I have to configure the laptop that I reinstalled windows on, upgrade my virtual machine images on my mac and maybe upgrade my "hack" to the lastest os version. Just don't have enough time on the weekend! Â 3. I had to put a VIP guest in her place last weekend. I was volunteering at a silent auction booth with thousands of dollars in merchandise and people kept putting their dirty plates and cups down on the bid sheets and tables when the trash can was in the corner! Â I walked by one table and saw someone put a half bottle of wine on the table and walked off. I picked it up and looked around and was taking it to the trash when a guy thought I was getting my drink on. I asked him if he wanted it since it was messing up my display. A few seconds later a lady comes up with a big attitude saying "Thats MY bottle!" Â I said "Then B$tch, what it's doing on MY table? I got thousands of dollars of stuff here and you're putting your wet bottle down on my stuff like you're at home! Take it and get the hell out of here!" Â The security guard that was standing next to me started laughing. She scurried off quietly. Some people. Â BTW, one of the cast from a former MTV Real World and Road Rules (the one that's gay) was at the party and was looking at a few pieces from the auction. I noticed he put on weight though... guess that happens when the 15 minutes of fame is up. Â Terry
Bolliger&Mabillard Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I'm bored...and that somehow is everyone's problem.
spacemtfan Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Oh my god... Â I just gone Christmas shopping today at the Ontario Mills mall. Holy crap, it was so packed with so many people. Two big megastores (Steve & Barry's and the Virgin Megastore) were going out of business, so everyone was trying to cash in on those 50% off sales. Â People are so freakin' rude! At EB Games, some jerks stole a damn PS3 from my hands (I was just looking) and another person shoved me when I was looking for "Pokemon Ranger". Â On another note, I hate how I missed the "TPR Black Friday" sales both times. The first time I was in Yosemite with no Wi-Fi access. The second time I didn't get the email until the next day! Â Oh well. Can't change the past now.
thrillgeek Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 My bank charged me $90 for being overdrawn. I took a look at my online account and I always had money in both my checking and savings account. So I'm trying to figure out why they would be charging me even though I wasn't really overdrawn. I'll be calling them today or tomorrow to sort this out.
holidayworld08 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 My girlfriend dumped me . And then the next day I saw that my best friend was dating her! What a backstabbing.. not going to get in to this but it's not over yet!
bspellx5 Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I'm going to a David Archuleta concert on wednesday with my ex-boyfriend AND his new bf together. Awkward to the max.
ebl Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 ^^ I don't know about you, but would you really want her back after stabbing you in the back? Find someone with more class. Â Eric
terrancew_hod Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 ^Right. Â But I saw more of you trying to plan revenge than wanting her back... Â Don't waste your time. Moving on and doing other things is better. Although my version of revenge is looking better than my exes after we break up. You should have saw two of mine trying to get my attention last weekend after they had messed up... they both got ignored as I socialized with my friends; and I didn't give them a second thought. In fact, I was wondering "What the heck was I thinking"? Â Terry
Bolliger&Mabillard Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 ^I couldn't agree more. I did that with my first gf. After we broke up, I got my head in the right place, wedged myself into school and bettered myself and to this day she hits me up (I think the guy she cheated on me with cheated on her, talk about karma)
terrancew_hod Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 ^Karma is something else. I remember a long time ago a person I dated did the same thing with an acquaintance of mine. I thought everything was ok until I introduced them one night while we were out... big mistake. Â A week later after I got dumped, he walks in with my friend. I was not happy; but I just rolled my eyes and kicked back a beer. About two weeks later, I was at the bar sipping a cocktail and my ex comes up all depressed. His antique car he was fixing up went into the shop for a repair and the shop kept the car overnight. They stored his car under a hydraulic lift holding another car... which lost pressure and crushed his car. I don't know why my exes think I'm the friendly shoulder to cry on, but he got a rude awakening when I said "Well that's karma for you cheating on me. I gotta walk. Later." Â I didn't bother looking back but I know I ruined his life right then and there. Â When I was younger, I used to let all the stuff affect me; now, when I meet someone, I just issue warnings on what's going to happen if they don't come correct... which is basically they'll come running back to me when they find out the grass isn't greener and I'm going to act like they don't exist. Of course, they never believe me until that day after they mess up and try to say hi and I walk past them like they are invisible. Those guys look so sad when I do it too! Life is too short to put up with messy people. I got better things to do with my time! Â Terry
thrillgeek Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 ^I couldn't agree more. I did that with my first gf. After we broke up, I got my head in the right place, wedged myself into school and bettered myself and to this day she hits me up (I think the guy she cheated on me with cheated on her, talk about karma) Â That happened to one of my ex's! It was priceless. The sad thing is though we still talk occasionally so I couldn't really bring it up otherwise she wouldn't want to be friends.
spaceace12 Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Today at my p/t job (grocery store), we were dead, so I was just trying to stay away from bordom and asked the cashier I was working with, "put up your Christmas Tree yet". To which she turned around and said, "there is a reason I dont' talk to you..." and turned back around. Â I don't hardly ever work this particular cashier and have no idea what I did if anything.
spacemtfan Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 ^ She must really hate her job. Either that, or she's anti-social.
