coasterfreak101 0
I wonder how long it's gonna be till the park gets tired of these rollbacks on volcano & decides to just replace the ride alltogether? All launch rides rollback... Volcano is easily the most popular ride in the park. The park is going to keep it around as long as possible and might even re-configure the station soon due to its popularity. We all know you hate the ride, want it to be removed, and want a B&M invert. Yup. The thing draws the longest lines in the park (and still will with a reconfigured station, I can almost guarantee it). It's one-of-a-kind, and doesn't have excessive problems at all nowadays. I'm assuming you expect Cedar Point and Great Adventure to get rid of their rides that are prone to rollbacks? What a waste of $25 million for a ride that rolls back on occasion. Coaster_Fanatic 0
You don't even want to know the kind of crazy stuff you see inside Smurf Mountain! Speaking of smurfs did anyone notice that they're selling smurf plushies in the shops along I-street? Seems like after 30 years they're making a real comeback. I wonder how long it's gonna be till the park gets tired of these rollbacks on volcano & decides to just replace the ride alltogether? I still don't understand why you hate Volcano so much... I may be heading to the park for a few hours later today or Wednesday. Let's hope for light(ish?) crowds.

KDCOASTERFAN 0
Found an interesting conceptual planning map over on KDGY's facebook page...the park would've looked somewhat different especially on the west side had paramount followed through with it.
T-BONDIcoasterkid 0
I'm going to Kings Dominion this Saturday. With a chance of Isolated T-Storms and hot weather, how long can I expect the lines to be? -Trevor Bondi-
KDCOASTERFAN 0
I'm going to Kings Dominion this Saturday. With a chance of Isolated T-Storms and hot weather, how long can I expect the lines to be? -Trevor Bondi- The longest we waited for rides was on backlot,FOF & shockwave out of the rides ridden last saturday. Seems like wave swinger has been added to fastlane & I'm like "wtf?" the ride never generates a line long enough to need it and is usually at most just a one cycle wait. T-BONDIcoasterkid 0
We plan on not riding shockwave, but We're going to ride FoF.

imawesome1124 0
I really wish I could go to this. I love Christian rock and will kill to see some of these bands in concert.
KDCOASTERFAN 0
We plan on not riding shockwave, but We're going to ride FoF. Shockwave's actually running fairly well this season, mind you it's got it's rough spots in the helix entrance & last turnaround but other than that it's not as bad as say anaconda.FOF really had a bad vibration when I rode it saturday & I kinda got a bit of whiplash in the flatspin but I think a large part of it had to do with riding near the back of the train. If shockwave were to be removed in the future I wonder just what sort of small to medium sized steel ride could take it's place? No matter how much money theey're willing to invest in keeping it running eventually it will reach the end of it's useful service life so it kinda begs the question of what would a suitable replacement for that spot could or should be. Intimidator305 0
Seems like wave swinger has been added to fastlane & I'm like "wtf?" the ride never generates a line long enough to need it and is usually at most just a one cycle wait. The more rides listed on the Fast Lane booth, the more they can convince people to buy it. It is as simple as that, and they are just adding Fast Lane to rides that it is easy to add (AKA just throwing up some Fast Lane signs).

KDCOASTERFAN 0
How about this: I love Christian rock and would love to see some of these bands in concert. At least it may help to keep the crowds down somewhat in the park....then again the extreme heat we've been having lately would help as well since everyone would be in the waterpark during the day. Legoguy1395 0
Speaking of crowds, any estimates of what they will be like on the second week of this month? Also what would be the best day to go? We are thinking about either Wednesday or Thursday, but that can change. And is Volcano still closed? Thanks.
Intimidator305 0
Crowds definitely should be managable with the only semi-long waits on Volcano, Flight of Fear, and whatever attractions they're running 1 train on. Your best bet would be to go on Tuesday-Thursday. Crowds shouldn't vary much between those and are kind of up to luck with how many buses of groups there are that particular day, which nobody can predict.
