JEAPUgrad
Anybody else here smoke cigars? I just picked up the habit last summer myself. I smoke Perdomos. What brands do you like?
man
I don't myself... or at least with tobacco and I haven't bought an actual true cigar. Although buddies of mine recommend romeo y juliet. If you don't mind rolling up your own tobacco cigar you should definitely try the zig zag cigar wraps. There very good tobacco sheets and also pretty clean for what it is. phazan
I've smoked cigars before, usually while playing poker. I don't know any brands or anything but I bought a $4 one from this smoke shop in Berkley (California), that was pretty good. I've had some that are just disgusting, and some that are decent. I couldn't ever bring myself to pay more than $5 for one though. I've smoked pipe tobacco too..It was the cheapest they had, and it was nasty. Worse than one of those cigarellos (mini cigars)
RCFreak
I can't smoke anything due to horrible lungs, but I love it when someone smokes a Black and Mild.
phazan
I can't smoke anything due to horrible lungs, but I love it when someone smokes a Black and Mild. Haha generally I love the smell of tobacco smoke. I smoked one of those at a party once, and then some cigarettes I shared with a bunch of people. The next morning I woke up and I still had that strong taste of tobacco in my mouth and my skin smelt like smoke. Nasty.
JEAPUgrad
^I usually brush my teeth right after smoking a cigar as the tobacco taste just becomes really overwhelming. If I'm not in a position to brush, a nice adult beverage usually acts as a chaser.
Griffonluv
^That's a new one. A cigar chaser?

If I'm not in a position to brush, a nice adult beverage usually acts as a chaser. That's a good idea. I mean...not like I would ever drink underage but I've always wanted to have scotch or something with a decent cigar. That would be really relaxing haha. The taste builds up and the smoke gets absorbed or something..Makes me wonder how healthy that is haha
KPWoCkAxX
Well... Only being 15 I havn't smoked and I don't intend on doing so. I've got nothing against it. My Dad smokes, alot of my other family members *do*. If anything it makes them happier. It's just the smell that puts me off. And besides, my Mum says she'll chop my fingers off if she finds out I ever smoke.
BeemerBoy
My Dad smokes, alot of my other family members. He smokes your family members? As for me, I've had an occasional Cuban in the past, but that's about it.

RBOrrell
I smoke them - have done so for a few years - a couple on a weekend when the weather is cooperative. Here in Canada, we can get Cuban cigars at retailers and direct from Cuba itself. However, the costs for all tobacco products here is high because of taxation (remember that those people that think we have FREE healthcare). My favourite is a Cuban Montecristo #2 which is a torpedo size/shape. One of my favourite non-Cuban brands are the Perdomo lines - the Lot 23 or Cabinet Reserve lines. Also the Padron's. I will plug another web site you should check out, www.cigarasylum.com - I am a member there too and lot's of information - especially for newbies to the lifestyle. thrillgeek
I've tried cigarets before and I cant stand them. Especially since this last year two family members past away because of lung cancer. Cigars are the same way for me. The smell of the smoke is ok to me but the taste just kills me.
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
Being only 17, I'm not legally allowed to smoke but that didn't stop me from trying. Only to realize how bad an idea that really was (very deep regret). I don't agree with underage smoking AT ALL (or underage anything for that matter), but I don't have a problem with anyone of legal age smoking. It's their choice, they have to live with it. My grandpa smoked pretty much until the day he died. Everytime when I went to visit him I could smell it, until he died from his own habits. I currently don't smoke and I don't think I ever will go back. I hate the smell or taste of smokes and what does to you. My (ex) girlfriend used to get mad at me for my habits. That's not why she's an "ex", it's a long story that isn't really important.
the ghost
I dont smoke(or at least I dont smoke cigars or cigarettes), but I do kinda want to try a cigar since I am 18. I dont wanna try cigarettes as they are more addictive then cigars, but I see no problem with a few smokes every now and then. My dad does not smoke, but I have seen him have a cigar with other people at a wedding and stuff like that.
Kieran
Recently quite smoking and have gone onto cigars more often. I play sports so smoking was so stupid, money drainer. Now I just light up a Cuban at parties/ gatherings. Might carry a few cafe cremes around with me in the car if I get a craving. What does everyone smoke Cigarette wise? I was a Marlboro red or Peter Jackson blues guy.
mightypotato
My favourite is a Cuban Montecristo #2 which is a torpedo size/shape. You have excellent taste. On the rare occasion where I do smoke a cigar, I almost always go for a Montecristo #2. I find that they taste better and are smoother than other brands. When I used to work night shifts, I would work 7 in a row, then have the following week off. When I would get back to my apartment after my 7th shift, I would smoke a nice Cuban cigar and drink a cold beer. It was the most satisfying thing ever. JEAPUgrad
Well in the past couple of months since starting this thread I've become a little more seasoned in what I like and don't like. I'm starting to fade on the Perdomos. I purchased a box last month and half of them didn't taste right. I splurged for an expensive cigar and really really liked it. The cigar was an El Patron Serie 1926. OMFG! I'd smoke three a day if I could afford $30 a pop. LOL Also recently discoverd the brand "ACID". Sitting in the shop smoking with da boys and someone asks, "What are you smoking?" and I reply "Acid" everyone usually laughs. Acid cigars are infused with flavors so they don't have a strong cigar flavor.
PKI Jizzman
I enjoy a Black and Mild on the occasion, I know, I'm hood. LOL Naw, my friend's a big cigar guy and occasionally he will give me one. Party Source's private selection is pretty good. I'll have to ask to smoke with my Pop sometime, I know he has great taste in cigars.
