jray21 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Thanks for the update! I was really expecting a lot more with that zip line! $10 really is too expensive for that. It looked smaller than the practice zip line in Haiti for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line one.

Angry_Gumball Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 "I'm just glad they kept "The Big Dipper".......LOL!!! Biggest peeve...everyone calls it "The Big Dipper." At that rate, let's call Demon "Gremlin" and Vortex "Twistiness" Why? May as well replace names or parts of names with similar words. At least they didn't call it the Little Dipper
sfmman2000 Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Good thing they're going to "look at the instruction manual" (1:15) as part of setting up the ride.
linearinduction Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 That's Funny, Since I actually have a Set of Maurer SC-2000 Plans and Electrical Schematics! Â - Sid
Sheep-O-Matic Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I still think the Boardwalk should change Ghost Blasters to this: Â
singemfrc Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted on SCBB's Facebook - Undertow is vertical!!
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 ^Seems to be going up pretty fast. Shouldn't take long to finish.
Jew Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 ^It's a portable ride designed to be built in a week or less when traveling, so I can't imagine it taking too long to go up.
linearinduction Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 ^It's a portable ride designed to be built in a week or less when traveling, so I can't imagine it taking too long to go up.The Transportable SC-2000s can be erected in 36 Hours with 1 Crane and an 8 man Crew. Since Undertow is the Base Frame Park Model (Xtended SC-2000), it shouldn't take them more than 10 Days to put it up. -Sid
jray21 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Looks like it's coming along well. But the big question is, is the S'mores cart still there!?
Riextol Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I am looking forward to going to Santa Cruz and riding this ride. I went last year for the first time, and the enitre park was a ton of fun, especially the ring toss in the carrousel which we turned into a competition. ^ I missed the Smore's cart, never saw it last year
Bassdirt Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Just drove by the park today to check out Under Tow. Got some quick snaps from a cell phone. Enjoy!
Blue Fire Guy Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Just as I expected for an Xtended SC2000, shooting up pretty fast! Looking forward to hitting it up this summer.
Angry_Gumball Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 ^This. Â UT looks like it's going to be a very nice addition to the 'Walk!
Double0Kevin Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Wow! Very nice. Sucks I'm not in the Bay Area anymore to get on the new coasters. I'll have to make it up soon.
