PCW_Nut Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 So the entire HHN will be Saw themed or is it just some of it? Sounds like all of it? I like the idea for one house but for all? Not sure how that will work.
jackskellington101 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Break out the pig masks! It's a Sawapalooza!
RCFreak Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I assume Saw will be the theme throughout the event and will be featured in a house, a scare zone, and on the tram tour. I heard a rumor about Michael Myers being used at Hollywood's event. I'm pretty sure they'll pull the SAW theme off like last year where Freddy was the main star, but still had all the New Line mazes uneffected with Freddy. I'm also pretty sure that both events will feature a Wolfman house for promotion of the movie (last year the tram tour had footage from the movie, and it looked decent) but Hollywood has their semi-permanent House of Horrors to play with which has most of the Universal monsters already, including the Wolfman. It should be intresting to see what they do.
ECZenith Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I love the saw movies, well... 1-3 anyways... so I'm definately looking forward to a Saw themed Horror Nights! I'm pretty sure they'll only have one saw maze and then a couple others. Can't wait till October!
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I can't wait for this years event! Last year was so much fun!
ghost007jas Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 A Saw maze sounds like a really fantastic idea, I can think of all kinds of sweet gags they could pull off. I can't believe it's almost here again!
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 If the SAW maze is even half as good as the one that they do in Brea (I think its in Brea) it will be great!
Jew Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Preparation for the event is already underway. The queue railings have been removed from Mummy.
dragsterfan420 Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I hope they do the same thing at HHN Orlando!
RCFreak Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 There were a couple of really good scary short films from last year's contest, so I'm excited to see what sick twisted things people think of this year!
RCFreak Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I think anywone who's actually talked to you would realize that. Good luck if you do! This would be last year's winner "The Prank" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YnXu3n7GWQ There are a cople more of the top 10 finalists in the related videos as well.
ChrisZer0 Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 i'll be at HHN-Hollywood this year, when do the tix usually go on sale??
ECZenith Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 I've got to wonder if the Saw Maze in Brea this past Halloween was a test to see if the franchise has maintained its popularity. It was amazing and I'd be happy even if Universal Hollywood's saw maze was nearly identical to the 2008 version, but I'm sure we're looking at a whole new creation. Expect this one to be highly interactive. Saw Maze and a new Halloween Disneyland Fireworks Show this year! Is it October yet!?!!?
RCFreak Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 What I remember reading was the Brea maze is completely seperate endevour. The guy basically did it all himself and just borrowed the name and likeness but had no help from Lionsgate. On the flipside however, Lionsgate would get nothing, profit wise, from the maze. I'm more intrested if it's coming back this year or if Lionsgate would stop him this year with Universal taking a stab (or bear trap) at the franchise.
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 ^A few months ago, there was a advertisement for the Maze in Brea. It was havinf a special showing of the maze...in April or May...haha. I was thinking this was some sort of soft opening (a bit early though). I could see it coming back, it was a great maze, I loved it!
dino Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Finlally some "official mention" of Micheal Myers for the event. I thought that was going to be a rumor we wouldn't see come to fruition. If it's possible I just got more excited for HHN .
ChrisZer0 Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Shaun Of The Dead, Saw AND Halloween/Myers...im impressed..i'll be getting my tix early this year!
Manny In England Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Whoa, Shaun of the Dead, Halloween Horror Nights just became twice as awesome.
