ash.1111 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Super cool! Thanks! The Maverick one is the best IMHO. The last one I found a little odd though, haha.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I like all of them, if you ask me. When I'm done with Knott's I'll choose another one!
Erik Johnson Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I too also have to say that the last one is the best one.
hydra Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Kumba is now my background! Awesome photos and love the comic book style.
bgroodog Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Here are a few of mine... I will contribute more if there is desire for more I will Post them on my Deviant Art Page (Something that I havent done much with for a long time) http://bgroodog.deviantart.com/ Disney's Tomorrowland 1680x1050 Widescreen Disney's Magic Kingdom 1680x1050 Widescreen Cedar Point's Maverick 1680x1050 Widescreen Cedar Point's Magnum XL-200 1680x1050 Widescreen Cedar Point Aerial 1680x1050 Widescreen
gatorchomp83 Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 ^That's right, San. bgroodog: I LOVE that Tomorrowland shot! I added Renegade and a Busch Gardens Tampa collage to the first page, the BGT one being my personal favorite.
coaster_dad Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Excellent! Thanks for the awesome wallpapers. Now the problem is which one to use first...?
Sue Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Thanks for sharing! I especially love the Renegade shot. Coasters look so awesome in the snow!
Guest Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Woah, wasn't this a wallpaper thread? I didnt know it was a CP Trip Report
Manny In England Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 ^ Nice find. It was a subtle transition but when you think about it that is what it's become. They're still great photos all round by the way.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 I guess I could have put less photo's, but I do already have a trip report.
gatorchomp83 Posted April 12, 2009 Author Posted April 12, 2009 I'm not bothered by others posting their work, but this is a desktop wallpaper thread, not just somewhere to post random photos from a park that can't be used as such.
bgroodog Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 ^Yea I agree... If you wish to contribute please process the photos for desktop use. Don't just post a bunch of photos you think look "nice". Just saying. For some help, here are some popular desktop resolutions. Hope this helps... 4:3 (Monitor Standard) 1024x768 1280x1024 1600x1200 16:10 (Monitor Widescreen) 1680x1050 1920x1200 16:9 (HD Widescreen) 1280x720 (720p) 1920x1080 (1080p) The larger the better, since the images themselves can usually be scaled down to fit any background. But also make sure your source image is equal or greater then the size you want the finished image to be.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 ^Thank you! I'm sorry about that, I'll see if I can get some of those enlarged. Also, I can't find a good program to enlarge them with, does anyone have any suggestions?
Montu Maniac Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Here are some new ones .... these are 800-600 (this is max. res. I can post).... how can I share the higher resolutions with you guys .... ( I'm from a generation that knows how to put a computer on and off .... just that !!!!) hahaha Twister ( Knoebels ) Talon ( Dorney ) Silver Bullet ( Knott's Berry Farm ) Lightning Racer ( Hersheypark ) Batman ( SFGA )
k9kyleharvey977 Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Hey love the photos, thanks for adding Goliath to your selection im heading to Sfog next weekend. By the way, im a Huge Gator fan, love the Gator wallpaper, job well done. Goooo Gators!!
Lenaapple1974 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I am totally in love with just about every wallpaper, except the odd gator. But I am from NY, so it is ok. I wish I could borrow someones photoshop skills and make some of my pics (or future pics) that awesome! Thank you all for posting that! I look forward to more in the future. Maybe one day I will get that CS3 going and put it to good use!
STR8FXXXINEDGE Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 ^ You have CS3 and you don't even use it? DOH! haha. Get that thing goin'! I have a bootleg version of one of the older Creative Suites. I would give my left leg to get an updated and legit version of CS. Ok, I wouldn't really give my left leg, but you get the point. P.S. If you don't feel like using it, feel free to send it my way!
bgroodog Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Here is another... This one is of Wildcat and Fahrenheit at Hershey Park. If you would like it in its original color let me know, I can post it. Here is the version with color changes and filters. Enjoy! 1680x1050 Widscreen .
