MrMorgan Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 A friend of mine just let me know he saw a news story about R'n'R being on fire at DLP Studios today! Apparently they were doing some work on the roof and the building caught fire, causing them to evacuate the entire building as well as the surrounding buildings. I found this article: http://www.spiegel.de/reise/aktuell/0,1518,616995,00.html which confirms all that. Neither report mentions that anyone was injured, or how much damage has been done. Anyone know anything more?
TPDave Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 That doesn't sound good. Hopefully no-one is hurt and not too much damage is done...
Wes Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 "We're gonna need a hose....make it a super stretch hose!"
MrX8991 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Wes' and Twister II's responses are perfect ! (It took 3 tries to get this post right. Thank God for post edits) How many fires have there been at DLP? I can think of 4 off the top of my head!
Yeti762 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 For a second, I had to look at the date and make sure it wasn't April Fools Day!
CreditCrazy Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Good thing it wasn't at Knoebels. At least we know Knoebels is prepared for a fire.
ebl Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 How could there be a fire in space? There's no oxygen out there... Eric
ghost007jas Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Disney magic is combustible! Duh man... Or maybe the Rock 'n' Roll power of Aerosmith started it?
Nrthwnd Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Pity it's not Space Mountain: Mission 2. Or Indiana Jones: Temple of Peril Forwards or backwards.
milst1 Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 How many fires have there been at DLP? I can think of 4 off the top of my head! Considering the ever-present smoking all over the park by many guests at DLRP, it's surprising that there haven't been even more fires.
monkeyoverlord71 Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Pity it's not Space Mountain: Mission 2. Or Indiana Jones: Temple of Peril Forwards or backwards. Hey Indy rocks. It at least kicks Space Mountains ass.
