Mr. Starr Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Also, this may be a stupid question, but I forgot the cheat that is used to take away the menu icons to take a decent picture in game, anyone know how Rename a peep David Walsh and then press CTRL + U to remove and bring back the icons. Thanks Jon!
mcjaco Posted November 15, 2010 Author Posted November 15, 2010 I need some help with the scenario editor, how can I get my land for my park bigger? What is there in the scenario editor cannot be made any larger, that's as big as land goes. The largest you can make a park is 254x254. You have to do it in the options menu, then make sure you set all the land to be owned by the park. I have a blank one saved, that I can post, if people want it.
hulahoop1 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Ok, thank you mcjaco, I need some help. If I make an entrance like not one of the main entrances, will the guests actually walk through you custom made entrance?
mcjaco Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 If you place an people generator arrow, they will. It just won't count for attendance, nd you won't get any ticket money. Best thing to do is install "Invisible Doodads." There's a invisible entrance in that set. Then you can build what ever you want over it.
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 I keep getting error messages with my new CSO saying "No :svd fror :sid". Anyone know what this is?
mcjaco Posted December 1, 2010 Author Posted December 1, 2010 (edited) The scenery isn't installed correctly. Make sure you Extract the files from the zip/rar into the Style/Themed folder. Don't Copy and Paste. It doesn't work. Edited December 1, 2010 by mcjaco
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Okay, I'll try that. Thanks. EDIT: Still didn't work. I moved the .zips to the Senery files and extracted them there, but the game crashes with the "No :svd" message again.
mcjaco Posted December 1, 2010 Author Posted December 1, 2010 Don't move the files anywhere. Download the zip files to your desktop. Then, right click, extract (or unzip), select Atari/RCT3/Style/Themed. Extract or unzip them into the Themed folder.
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Still not working...the game freezes up every time I try to use an item with the same error message.
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 NVM I found the problem...putting them in the wrong folders.
tiger01 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 For Christmas I'm getting the Deluxe Edition of RCT3 but on my origional one I'm building a Park that I really like. Just wondering if you can open up the park in the new game and then uninstall the last one.

Just wondering if you can open up the park in the new game and then uninstall the last one. Just save the dat file in the My Documents/RCT3 file. Then move it back into that file when you re-install. ***I save all folders in the Scenery directory and Custom Rides folders so I don't have to unzip and extract each one all over again, when I re-install.***
A.J. Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Hopefully temporarily turning this thread into an "I search an object" thread isn't frowned upon. I'm looking for CSO that would be good for making a wooden ropes course/playground, similar to Adventure Mountain at Dollywood and the structure in CD5's Bugs Bunny National Park area. I wasn't sure what to look up on Google because people describe that sort of structure in many different ways.
ABW Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 How can I get to Magnetic Stators in the game once it's downloaded. Also, what folder must I place it in?
gci2011 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Ok - I have DasMatze's German Railroad Crossing Kit installed and placed in my park where I want it. But I can't get the gates to close when the train goes through. How can I get this to work properly so peeps can't get through, or is that not possible?

I suggest Doughnut's Pool Structures and Dasmatze's Swizz It!. I believe CD5 uses Doughnut's Pool Structure's (not 100% sure though) but combined with the Swizz It! kit you can make some neat and unique buildings.
gci2011 Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Ok - trying to use the RCT3 CS Importer but I'm missing mingwm10.dll. No idea what to do, is this something that another person could send to me? I want to try to import a bit of CS that I've made.
tiger01 Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Are there coloured lights in game (Deluxe version) or do I have to import them as custom scenery? I'm looking for lights which Light up lift hills.
gci2011 Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I don't know about in-game, but I've used some that I *think* are in Vodhin's light set.
tiger01 Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 ^ Where can I find them? EDIT: Don't worry I've found them. Thanks for the help. EDIT 2: I can't access Vodhin's Custom scenery for some reason so do you know any other good light sets?
SFMM fanboy Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Anyone know a site where I can download Old Spice's bridge set?
Popcorn54 Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Anyone know a site where I can download Old Spice's bridge set? Try His site ;http://www.putmeonthenet.net/content/old_spice/scenery3.html
SFMM fanboy Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 ^Sorry, but Trend Micro Internet Security blocked it. Maybe you can find a safer site.
