Six Flags Enthuseast Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 (edited) I got that awesome Gadget/RR Intamin Giant Drop ride, but I forgot which folder to put it in. Where do I put it, and which specific item(s) do I put in? Here's a link to the download website, so you can see what files it contains (and how freakin' awesome it is!). Edit: Fixed the problem. nln00b Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 You will notice that the _Common folder and the Data folder look similar. Now comes the tricky part. You need to copy every file inside every folder in "_Common" to the same folders in "Data." Example: (Note: you have to open both folders on the windows.) Campaign -> Base -> [data files]. Copy those files from _Common to Data. Folders that do not exist need to be copied over. Replace all existing files from Data. Also, folders inside folders need to have replaced data files too. Does this mean I can just copy everything and paste it over?
davisal771 Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 How do I install NetOn? I have the .Exe but when I run it it shows the intro then closed...
liftsifter Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Does anyone here have a Vekoma Giant Inverted Boomerang that is custom supported and all?
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 ^For CS, you would put it in the Atari/Roller Coaster Tycoon 3/Style/Themed folder. As a sidenote, for CFRs, you would have to create a folder named Custom in the Style folder, and insert the CFR data into it.
imawesome1124 Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 ^ I didn't see an Atari folder but I saw an RCT3 folder. When I put it in there I see a scenery folder and structures folder. I have shyguy's mainstreet set so can I put it in one of those?
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 ^Weird. When I get to Style/Themed, I see a list of the themes that are in my game (I.E. Adventure, Atlantis, IslandParadise, Jungle, etc.) Which expansion packs do you have?
imawesome1124 Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I used to have Soaked, but I wiped out my hard drive and didn't have the box with the codes to install it.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 That sucks. I have both expansion packs, so maybe that's why you have different folders than me. I'd put it in scenery, in that case.
spacemtfan Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 "DirectX9 Not Found""This error has also been sent to Debug.log" I always get this message whenever I try to play RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help either. Is there a solution to this problem? Thank you!
davisal771 Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 ^ Try installing the latest drivers for your graphics card. If that doesn't work then try re-installing Directx. If all else fails you might need a new graphics card.
griffonj2022 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Okay, so I'm attempting (there's the key word there, Attempting) to do the World of Color show at California Adventure in RCT3. While I'm only going to do the opening and closing themes and try to do somewhat of a recreation with my own stuff in it, I can't even get the song onto RCT3. I downloaded it off of YouTube and put it in the RCT3 music folder as an mp3 file, along with some other music, and it doesn't show up in the game at all. Am I doing something wrong here?
djbrcace1234 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 ^ I don't play Rct3 anymore, but I Think the songs need to be converted as a Wav file.
davisal771 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 ^ Yes, I think so too. I'm almost positive in game its a .wav file. Does anyone know how to install neton on vista? Everytime I run it it shows the intro then crashes. Thoughts?
griffonj2022 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 How do you convert an mp3 into a .wav file...i have no idea how to do that.
djbrcace1234 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 How do you convert an mp3 into a .wav file...i have no idea how to do that. Just find a Wav converter on google or something, but if you're just trying to make a recreation for like a movie or something, I would just incorporate the music towards the end, during editing of such a flim.
griffonj2022 Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 ^I will, but I just want it in the game so i can produce the show.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I thought you had to convert it into AAC. That's what somebody on Atari Forums told me when I had the same problem a long time ago.
astro Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Okay, so I started making what is (hopefully) going to be a haunted wild mouse coaster. This is my first project, and I didn't realize what an undertaking it was. I have the coaster already built, and I have Jcats Screamworx and Jcats Darkride sets, but I don't know where to start. Should I do the effects( ghosts, particle effects, fire etc.), or start the walls and then go from the ground up to the effects. Help will be appreciated.Thanks.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 ^I would build the walls first, so that you have an idea of where the effects go and how much room is avaliable. Did you have a building pre-planned or were you just going to make a building on the spot to fit the wild mouse?
astro Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Uh, I think it was sort of both, as in, I had the general idea of what I wanted it to be, and I sort of throw things in as I go. The thing(though a wild mouse) is MASSIVE! Truly its not that large, but when you have to theme the whole thing, it really grows on you.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 ^I understand. In this case, I'd build the building first so you have an idea on the area you need/want and how much theming you can place.
weetopia2 Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Does anyone have version 1 of Indiana Jones CTR? Desperate~ Thank You
