KingRCT3 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 ^^ True, don't take the speed as granted for instance, I really think my version is in overspeed in the lower bits (the heart, though, seems possible). But it's based on the real layout (not a concept-art I mean), and pictures from the manufacturer. So we can identify what spots where intended to have airtime or not.
I305forever Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 ^ Yaaaayyyy I was actually right for once... sorta
StealthFan Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 It amazing just how much the castle and the support structure dominate the skyline and the ride isn't even close to be finished. This should actually be pretty impressive when complete. That support arch/tower does still look really weird to me though.
K1ngdaKa88 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 That looks awesome! Looks like a tight turn with high G's! And an Airtime hill just after it! Yay
gerstlaueringvar Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I was disturbed by this support. Love the structure of that Butterfly element, some serious engineering happened there.
I305forever Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Those supports look insane! Hopefully the ride will be just as insane
rcjp Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 How about more pics? Source. (sorry they're not in the correct order)
rcjp Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 This one caught my attention in particular not only because of the headchoppers but mainly due to how banked the track on that turn is as that means lots of Gs!
KingRCT3 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 This is looking really amazing! By the way, did you noticed they built two supports facing the wrong way at first? (now fixed) Wrong way: (Coasterfriends.de) This second picture is took at the other side. Spot the support with the part that sticks out. Right way: (Hapaforum)
I305forever Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 The whole coaster looks like an intamin to me (which isn't a bad thing).
3Mutts Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 ^ Seems the Germans like to copy Intamin (this along with Macks Mega Coasters).
gerstlaueringvar Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 This is looking really amazing! By the way, did you noticed they built two supports facing the wrong way at first? (now fixed) Wrong way: (Coasterfriends.de) This second picture is took at the other side. Spot the support with the part that sticks out. Right way: (Hapaforum) Good job spotting that!
K1ngdaKa88 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 That looks so twistyy!!! Can't wait to see it finished!
Jew Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I love how the slide is practically in the construction zone and it's no big deal at all.
KingRCT3 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 ^ I remember they had to take some pieces of the slide off to pour the foundations. Now it's already running again yeah. Good job spotting that! Credits to the guys over Coaserfriends.de.
StealthFan Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Now they have finished with the tower and that insane archway of supports seems they have really picked up the pace with construction! Im sure before we know it the last piece of track will be installed and we will see trains on the track.
dcxs Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 This really looks like a top 5 steel coaster to me! Might have to spend a weekend in Germany this summer
Paradox Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 ^I would wait until next year when the theming is finished and you can get the full experience. This should be a big milestone for Gerstlauer. Their first hyper and it looks great!
gerstlaueringvar Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Their construction crew really is moving fast!
StealthFan Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Do we know if guests will be allowed to walk underneath this part of the ride at all or is it all going to be secure ride area?
I305forever Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 ^ It doesn't look like park guest will be allowed to enter that area.
BDG Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Do we know if guests will be allowed to walk underneath this part of the ride at all or is it all going to be secure ride area? Most of that area will be water. Quick Photoshop:
