cprocks22 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 If someone married the Eiffel Tower, can I marry pictures? I'm in love.
U2Rox Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Hey, Just wanted to say you are great photographer!! Love the shots of Cedar Point. The ones of Ravine Flyer have a special place in my heart!! Great Work!! Thanks for sharing!!
mr_teisco_delrey Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 It's only the first day of Fall, but after seeing these awesome shots, I totally miss Summer already.
downunder Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I really love the photos, I appreciate that it takes time and effort to get photos like that, not to mention lugging around an SLR. ^Summer's around the corner down here but no coasters, but that's alright plenty of other things to occupy myself with.
californiascreamer1 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Amazing photos! i want to be a photographer so its cool to see these pictures and all the good descriptions of them. i wish i could afford a camera that can do all that.
Speeddeamon128 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Amazing Hd pics! Love the Cedar Point pics
Hand 0f Time Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Lovely photography. One of those Maverick pictures look just like one I have took in 2006. Hmm... I guess I don't have it uploaded to the comp. Maybe next time. [/img]
Rollertoaster Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Great pics! I'm a photography enthusiast, but your work looks very professional. All I can say is, Well Done! ^Er, I'm guessing your pics of Maverick are from construction? Maverick opened in 2007, But I have lots of construction pics from 2006 (actually, construction started just after the 2005 season!)
Joe Schwartz Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 do you upload them somewhere in wallpaper formats? i really want some of those maverick shots or the launch of TTD The horizontal shots are available in 1200x800 size from my Flickr page -- view a photo and click the All Sizes button above it. These should stretch to desktop size without too much degradation. If there's enough interest, I could upload one or two of the most popular photos in a larger size.
PhantomNick Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Wow. I can't think of anything to say but that. Those photos are unbelievably stunning!! I thoroughly enjoy taking pictures at parks, but even the "best" of mine pale by comparison to your shots. You, sir, have some incredible talent!

Joe Schwartz Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 ^I just edited the first post to include details about my camera and lenses.

Interest, specifically the Cedar Point ones if you could
zjerre Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 thanks for the intresting background on your body and lenses the 24-105 L is a classic FF lens and imo the 70-300 a great quality/prize zoomlens. its image quality comes close to the 70-200 L lenses, as far as i read the reviews
Fredlv1 Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Hey Joe, Just wondering if anyone happen to mistake you for a homeless man and offered you money during any time you were sitting on the ground take any of these photos?!?! Fred Biedermann
griffon Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Cool man, thanks for sharing those! Nice to see what kind of shots you're getting with those 2 lenses. I've been shooting a lot with the 70-200 F4 L this summer and wouldn't trade it for anything. Hopefully you still had enough time to enjoy the parks after getting those shots lined up
Joe Schwartz Posted September 24, 2008 Author Posted September 24, 2008 Just wondering if anyone happen to mistake you for a homeless man and offered you money during any time you were sitting on the ground take any of these photos?!?! LOL, no, not this time. Apparently, what happens in Vegas really does stay in Vegas. Next time, I'll take the money.
steel Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 WOW! These are amazing. Hey, I want to thank you personally - if it weren't for Joyrides, I would never have gotten into roller coasters. So thank you so much for giving me a passion.
KnottsDisneyFarm Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Wow, I didn't know that that much went into taking a good photo. I always just "aim and shoot!" I enjoyed viewing the photos, THANKS!
