I haven't done a Cooking with Joe in several months, and decided to make some pizza for my mom and I tonight. Enjoy!

Several minutes later, there you go - gooey, cheesy, meaty pizza that was delicious. Thanks for reading, though I'm sure the absence of fire, disaster and/or illness won't make this CWJ too popular =/ at least this time I didn't waste $30 in food on a bad idea ;-)

I think I'll have a beer - Sweetwater's delicious IPA to be precise.

all done, and now all it has to do is bake for a while. In the mean time..

Next, I pulled the wurst off the grill and chopped it up into manageable sizes for the pizza. Sharp knives + meat = awesome!

Alright, time to add the cheese to the dough, and sprinkle on a little seasoning

Grating the cheese, you can notice that the french cheese is really soft and wasn't very easy to grate, but it worked out ok!

Next up, the cheese, which I'm trying out with pizza. Butterkase from Germany, and Doux de Montagne from France. Both are buttery, soft cheeses that I felt would work well on pizza!

I started to roll out the dough and shape it into what vaguely looks like a pizza pie

Preparing to knead the dough (purchased at Publix - which is where I was all weekend apparently!), I tossed some flour on the counter

Meanwhile, outside, I put some bratwurst on the grill

We are using the olive oil to grease up a pan for baking pizza!

Welcome to Cooking with Joe, where we start off with some Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This seems like an appropriate time to say hi to Joey (does that ever get old?)

The world is a better place now.

That looks seriously good! After spending three days in Publix, it better be! Nice work dude, now I really want to cook something!

At first, the wurst and the cheese types were questionable, as was the lack of sauce, but, the end result looks really tasty.

Slight off topic, Joe you were thought of while passing the Jack Daniels restaurant up at the Opryland Hotel. Reminded me of the Beer Steak episode.

Disaster or not, always good to see Cooking With Joe.

That pizza looked...yummy!

I'd do a Photo report of me making my chicken pesto pizza, but it would never be as good as this.

Yay for more CWJ! Aside from the meat (not a big fan of it on my pizza)
What kind of red blooded American are you? No meat on pizza, wait until the voting public finds out about this.

The pizza looks really good. I am a little bit weired out by the lack of sauce, but hey, around here, some pizza places don't put cheese on their pizza which is even weirder.

Yeah, I don't think Scott can win on a platform of PMW alone. Although I think I could skip the bratwurst.

My team has advised me to remind the American public that I am a fan of the California Pizza Kitchen's BBQ Pizza offering. While it's not exactly beef, it still plays. In the words of Hillshire Farms.....Go Meat!

PMW '08 I approve this message.

1 - That is not pizza.

2 - Pizza must have sauce.

3 - Good pizza does not need meat

4 - Joe's concoction needs meat.

5 - I'm an Italian from New York, don't argue with me about pizza.

That is all.

Actually, following the logic the answer is not to argue with you about pizza.

If you took off #5 then the answer is it is not good, since we already struck out that it wasn't pizza.

(Note: I'm probably wrong, since I have no sense; which makes it hard to deal with any sort of logic)

You actually may get a few points back if you continue the TR episode with trying to clean the French cheese from the grater.

Reminds me of my first time cooking fried chicken... without the flour. EWWW! I guess if I had hot wing sauce I may had been in better condition.

^ the cheese actually came off really easily under hot water

as for it not being pizza, since when do CWJ episodes follow traditional guidelines for style? That is a Joe Pizza, simple as that

Yeah I mean he did make lasagna with spaghetti-O's last time. Mexican spaghetti-O lasagna.

And doesn't this count as a white pizza? Hell I'd eat it.
