robbalvey Posted July 10, 2005 Author Posted July 10, 2005 ^^ What do you mean by when you say "switch back from the main forum" What exactly are you doing or clicking on? ^ Hmm...do you get that error often? Are you on high-speed or dial up. I've never seen that. Did that happen on the old host too? --Robb "Thanks for your help!" Alvey
CoasterFanatic Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Working great here. My productivity will be increasing noticibly at work now that forums are faster.
Angry_Gumball Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Works here! No lag either. I assume the site maintenence was transfering the data from the old server to the new server. Much better now
crispy Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005  FAST, SUPER FAST AWESOME, and yes I am yelling this out loud as I am typing it.
moinab Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Thank you for all your work!!! Speed Rules!!!! No problems encountered, so far.
coasterdude5 Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 ^^ What do you mean by when you say "switch back from the main forum" What exactly are you doing or clicking on? ^ Hmm...do you get that error often? Are you on high-speed or dial up. I've never seen that. Did that happen on the old host too? --Robb "Thanks for your help!" Alvey It was my bad. It was something to do with the AOL browser. What a surprise! I have dial up too.
Sir Clinksalot Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I actually thought the whole thing yesterday was a joke. I kept clicking the "Magic Mountain" update and getting the message that that section of the site was down for "at least two hours" or something along those lines. I just thought you guys were making a sly little statement about how Six Flags runs their parks... But hey, the site runs hella fast now.
Thuur Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Haven't found any errors yet! Forum is working perfectly and much faster then before!
Wes Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I got this error when submitting a post. The actual reply was posted, but the error came up. Failed sending email :: PHP :: DEBUG MODE Line : 234 File : /home/themepar/public_html/forum/includes/emailer.php
robbalvey Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 ^ hmm...that's odd. I'm going to hope that is a one-off error since I haven't seen or heard of anyone else getting that. Please let me know if it happens again! Thanks Wes. --Robb
DenDen Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Robb, I'm getting a lot of.... phpBB : Critical Error Could not connect to the database and a lot of "refused connection" browser errors all of a sudden.
Wes Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 ^^ So far, it hasn't occured again...though I am getting some of the errors that DenDen posted ^ above. Minor things, but the server itself is much much faster.
CoasterCrazy Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I'm having the same problem as Wes but it doesn't give me an error page it returns to the post a reply page with the post that I just made in the message body. It doesn't happen to me every time. I'm also getting the same problem that DenDen is getting, it has happen to me 5 times today when I click on links within the site.
Coasters 4 ever Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Theme Park Review... forums... fast? It's a dream come true!
robbalvey Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 Thanks for letting me know. Posting a screenshot of the error is a GREAT idea! I've informed the host about this thread so if you do get any errors and wouldn't mind posting a screen shot, that would be very helpful! Overall, things seem to be running much better, but I think it will take a couple of days to work all the settings out. Thanks for your help! --Robb
coasterdude5 Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 All of a sudden alot of Avatars and smilies aren't showing up near the bottom of the page for me.
Angry_Gumball Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Still seems normal to me. I haven't seen anything happen (Watch an error happen as I post this)
