For the first part of the song, it's Devin showing his newfound control and calmness after quitting drugs and alcohol, singing about his sobriety. But around the 3:00 mark, something starts to change...

 

Without spoiling the surprise, let's say a voice from his past comes back to haunt him. A voice that has one goal: to lure him back into his destructive habits. And when that voice takes the stage... well, you are not prepared. Let's leave it at that.

 

I haven't been able to stop listening to this song for the last week, and I can't wait for the album to arrive from Amazon any day now!
