larrygator
Sorry if this sounds stupid/repetitive, but do the maps have to be resized as well? I do have a number of maps (and maybe some other stuff) that I could contribute to the index. Yes, the resizing is important for optimal viewing by those with laptops, iPads and other smaller screens.
megametal
Just thought I'd inform you that the SFA 2000 map link shows a picture of a boat ride instead of the map. Also that under the 2011 SFOT map listing it shows a 2008 SFOG map, and under the 2008 SFOG map listing it shows the 2011 SFOT map. Just thought you'd like to know. megametal
Here's a few more maps. Will take me a bit longer to do the bigger ones, as I have to go into photoshop or something and meld 2 or 3 sections together to make one map on most. larrygator
^anything you can contibute is awesome Also if you need to post a large map in two pieces that can be stacked vertically, Like This, feel free. It looks almost as good as one piece, but shows much more detail Once done in a horizontal manner it doesn't look as good, but sometimes is necessary to show a lot of detail Like This I'm heading back down the Gold Coast on Tuesday, will endeavor to grab some pics of Green Lantern Cool! Geauga Dog
Hi Larry, Went to Darien Lake today so I snapped a few pics of their three new rides in Rowdy's Ridge for you. Heave Ho Sign Hornet's Nest Sign Moose On The Loose Sign Hoot'n Holler Sign. This is the former Brain Teaser kid's coaster. Best photo I could get of the ride. Raccoon Rally Sign. This is the junior Dodgems in the old Fascination building. Didn't get a photo of the ride as I didn't want folks to think I was "strange" taking photos of their kids. Fascination was moved to a new location in the park.
larrygator
^Thank you and don't worry about the junior bumper cars as it's not something we would include in the Park Index.

larrygator
^Thank you. I might not put these in the Park Index immediately, as I have copies of many of these maps that I will be scanning when I have spare time. The scanning of maps tends to be much clean than photos, but I'll use what I can.
netdvn
Throwing in some maps here too. I'll admit the flash on some of the shinier maps does seem awful. larrygator
BUMP!!!! Remember we are looking for User Generated Submissions (your photos), not photos taken from other sites. Please resize your photos to 800x600 or smaller before submitting, otherwise they can not be used in the Park Index. You can post your photos in this thread, or through the submission tool in the Park Index. Or if you have any of those photos in a PTR just send me a PM and let me know. If you have photos of a non-kiddie ride that is not in TPR's Park Index, please submit that also. The list of what we need is not complete, only based on rides that appear on my personal park maps. High quality photos, please (not blurry, distorted or out of focus). We are also not adding FECs (Family Entertainment Centers) to the Park Index. Our current rule of thumb is to include places that have 6 or more adult rides. Also we are Theme Park Review not Water Park Review so we are not adding Water Parks either. Of course any PTRs containing superior photos or entertaining captions and a variety of pictures including multiple rides and areas (Not just one or two rides/attractions) are always valued. Attention has been given to every previously submitted Photo TR. Don't feel discouraged if we can't include every one. Photo in your PTRs must be downloaded onto the Theme Park Review server (not Imageshack, photobucket) for it to be included in the Park Index, that way we know a Red X will never appear. Lastly, if you have to ability to scan your park maps, feel free to submit those for the years that all not already in the Park Index. Geauga Dog
Hi Larry. Noticed you're still needing photos of Kennywood's new Black Widow. Here's a few I took today. This ride is great and felt it's a slightly better ride than the two Huss giants in my neck of the woods. Go Zamperla! When I went to CP on Monday I noticed that Iron Dragon has a new sign so I snapped it in case you wanted it. The sign at the top of the ride. larrygator
^thanks, I missed Black Widow opening by a couple of days, and my camera with the better zoom capabilities was not charged so I couldn't even get that logo. I wonder when they put that Iron Dragon sign in, I don't recall seeing it opening weekend.
