I knew it. Not only was there a ride there before, but that hill will give it a little more height..the cheap way..lol

What ride used to be here?

Krypton Comet used to be there. One of those chaos rides that you do not see anymore.

You tried it... Anyways, this is kind of similar to how some parks are converting their OTSR to the vest style ones, like on i305, maverick, stormrunner & etc. So it's a possibility that in the near future all slcs can receive some kind of upgrade, such as all of the premier launch coasters receiving lap bars. Is my question still stupid? Lol

Your original question referred to a rebuilt Great Nor'easter, no I have not ridden it, as it doesn't exist. That is why I said your question is stupid, why I think someone would need to ride it before making a statement that it needs to be rolled out to other park.

If you are asking about the conversion from the old OTSR to the vest style ones that occurred a few years ago. That lessened the pain on the ride marginally. I had no desire to ride it again after trying it out.

^ Furthermore, regardless of the results, it's still going to be a time and money investment that may not be worth it for whichever park has SLCs. Morey's has decided that it's in their best interest since Nor'easter is one of their flagship coasters and appears on just about every single one of their marketing materials (and looks great lit up at night).

Will Six Flags feel the same way about a multi-million dollar investment for their SLCs? I doubt it, but you never know.

Not to mention that they're so tight on space that they built a Log Flume and a bunch of water rides within inches of the track and quite honestly it fits together like a puzzle piece (it's really cool to see). If they tried to replace it I doubt anything else would even fit.

Everything about Nor'Easter is awesome besides the ride itself.

I highly doubt Six Flags would be inclined to do expensive trackwork on Mind Eraser when they know people will ride it anyway.

no line for hall manor near close time

Good night! Lines for haunted houses early on were short, but got long near the middle. Did a lot of coasters during day and night, and a few haunted houses right after they opened.

I only did 3 houses. Aftermath, Christmas Horror Shop, and Hall Manor. Aftermath was not gouda, Christmas was cool and nice, Hall Manner was EPIIICCC! Went right near closing and was very spooky and creepy and AHHHH!!!!

coasters were running great. 3 laps on Superman, 2 on Wild 1 and Roar, 1 on the Spinny Mouse, and 2 on Joker. Also did the Ring of Fire, Voodoo Drop, Mardi Gras Flyers, Riddler, and the scrambler!

^ Nice little TR! Question for you and others about the flyers at SFA. How are they? Can you snap them? We know the ones at Carowinds and Knoebels are great but for whatever reason Kings Dominion's flyers are absolutely terrible. We'll be next to SFA on Sunday and while I have a pass, SO does not but if they're decent he'd get one so we could go in the park for a few hours since we'll be in that area quite a bit the next few months.

They suck. You can snap them if you're really good (which I'm not) but generally they're complete crap.

I snapped them and they were pretty good! Def worth a ride on even if only for the creepy clowns painted on the side. Btw, cute bunny!

LOL two completely different reviews. Generally I have low expectations for SFA so I guess I'll have to stop in and try them myself. Crush thanks very much, his name is Freddy!

I rode French Quarter Flyers only once and I dug them. I was able to snap a bit.

I'm going to try to get a snap this weekend. Ill say it again, these are good flyers. Like with most everything, matter of opinion.

Lol,.i agree, but still will think they are good. I'm pissed that I didn't make it to GAdv. this year. I need El Toro in my life. The one time I went up there (HITP), it wasn't one of the rides open.
