Vonni Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 ^ Thank you. I was wondering because it looked pretty short from that previous picture. But in all fairness, it was installed when there was a height restriction.
Highridin Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Not only that, I 'believe', it was one of the first batch.
boldikus Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Did I really just agree to go down to this park tomorrow? Have Supes, Jokers Jinx and Wild One all been consistently running? And no VR crap til after 6 right? I'd like to just do a quick lap of the park since my buddy has never been there. I really just want a couple laps on Superman... It won't be a sh*tshow with crowds if we arrive at opening will it?
Password121 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 ^Haven't been to Fright Fest this year but in 2015 it wasn't busy at all until evening. Have fun!
boldikus Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Well that's good to know. We went in 2014 in mid September on a Sunday and the place was dead all day. Tomorrow they open @ noon and we have to be back in Philly (2.5 hours) by 5, so we really only have like 2.5/3 hours to hit everything, which I'm hoping we can. At least there's a ton of skipable stuff lol. I just really want rides on the three I like there.
CaptainCrush Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Lines dont get long until about 2 hours after opening I've noticed. Hit Gotham First then take shortcut under Wild One to Mardi Gras for quick runs on Wild One and Cajun.
boldikus Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Lol not worried about Ragin Cajun, I already caught that show. No need for a repeat. A couple dranks at Hurricanes could be the move though... Â Is Batwing opening with the park during FF? I know it usually opens a bit later.

I know it usually opens a bit later.  Last I looked, Batwing was open at about 12:45, so it may have opened with the park. All the rides you mentioned have been running flawlessly, especially Wild One. Seems to run faster in the cooler temps. Roar is really running good too. Everything has been running two trains, though they have been a little stingy with Superman for some reason.  I'll be there tomorrow too, but not until about 4 or 5.
coasterbill Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 it seems they are doing a great job for HIP Â If anybody can polish this turd it's Oak Island Creative.
livai Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I saw on their fb, who worked for over georgia / great adventure / st louis. I imagine that there are always their for six flags america
Highridin Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Can't wait to see Coyote Creek. Already seems to look pretty serious in there.
djackson Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Is SFA doing the Terror Twister thing on the teacups this year?
Highridin Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Is SFA doing the Terror Twister thing on the teacups this year? Â Yup
Highridin Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Park was super packed last night. On top of that, Batwing didn't work.
CaptainCrush Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Park was super packed last night. On top of that, Batwing didn't work. Â How long were lines for coasters & mazes? Considering going tonight possibly
boldikus Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 We were there 12-5 yesterday, no lines until just before we left. Steady stream of cars with a decent line at the gate as we were leaving. Pics/possible report coming soon to a TPR near you.

Considering going tonight possibly  They were outrageous. A lot of folks last night. I'm going later tonight. If you see a guy with a red Nautica jacket, glasses, and black Nikes, that's me . I do not know what my friend will be wearing.

Jason Maier Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Well . . . . finally got around to registering for this site  Anyhow, I finally got around to being a Gold Season Pass holder for Six Flags (my home park is Six Flags America, I live in Columbia, MD which is about a 35 mile trip).  I went semi-frequently in my younger days, even more so in the Wild World era. Last year, I went once after not going for several years (the last time I had gone before last year was in '07 when Two Face: The Flip Side was still there [too bad it got scrapped]).  Back to the point . . . I finally did Fright Fest a couple of times this year and of course, my favorite attraction is Hall Manor (you really can't get a good look at the Hall Manor house as your moving along the path, but if you can . . . . damn, it's nearly totally collapsed/unsafe. And with all the trees around it, you can't see it from the top of the Wild One anymore).  From what I've read throughout this thread . . . yes I do agree SFA has it's issues . . . but still a fun place to visit.
Jason Maier Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Park died when Skull Mountain did... Â Skull Mountain was unique, but as I recall it was a pain in the ass to maintain. And it was closed when the weather was too cold (post Labor Day)
