Kenta.Sasakado
How long/fast will it be if anybody knows, and whats the features that make it unique?
simaticable
^ I bet anyone with a time machine could tell you. Since there are revisions, we won't know until the park releases details later this month.
Angry_Gumball
Won't know yet, not until the 29th. As far as we know, assuming not the entire thing was changed, the first drop will be wrapping around the park's observation tower. I'm sure there's lots of other surprises we don't know about. Kenta.Sasakado
Okay thanks, is there still a new slide going to be made at boomerang bay?
Angry_Gumball
I wouldn't count on it at the moment, especially since that comment was made back in December last year, only for the article to suddenly no longer exist. Only time will tell, and Boomerang Bay could use a few more slides, honestly. I would just keep checking back at this page for happenings at the park, I check it every week, sometimes every other day to every day religiously: Â http://smartpermit.santaclaraca.gov/tm_bin/tmw_cmd.pl?tmw_cmd=ParcelViewParcel&shl_prc_parcel_no=104%2042%20019 Â I'm sure there's other loyal CGA fans/TPR members who do the same
Tmcdllr
Interesting.... 49ers....... Gold Striker...... I can think of a few things they both have in common, I wonder.....
Tmcdllr
Just went by the park, still dark but you can see the progress on this turn. Looks awesome!
Angry_Gumball
I'll be at the park tomorrow to check this out. Yea, there's another event going on there but the slightly cooler weather should make for some good waterpark action! And of course, I will have more photos of the happenings at the park. Flagg O'Dim
I wonder if CGA is dusting off those short-lived Demon mine props from 2008 for Gold Striker... Â Can't wait for the 29th!
Angry_Gumball
I almost forgot all about those props. Speaking of which, I wonder why it fizzled away. I wouldn't be surprised if those props see the light of day again either.
Double0Kevin
I wonder if CGA is dusting off those short-lived Demon mine props from 2008 for Gold Striker... Can't wait for the 29th!  I don't remember those... though I don't know if I went to CGA in '08. Anyone have a picture? Where were they at?
Angry_Gumball
I have some on here actually, will dig them up when I get home. It actually wasn't much other than a couple signs. Â Edit: Sorry, I lied... I don't have the photos posted on here like I initially thought.

Double0Kevin
^ Awesome. Â I'm really excited for CGA. Always liked that park, it's just been so neglected over the years. I've had 2 great visits this year so far and am really excited for it's future. Hopefully this is the beginning of great things (and hopefully inspires some spirited rivalry between the NorCal parks like we had in '98-'00). Intimidator305
I'm liking the unique marketing and hype that the park is doing for this ride. I hope that's something that more and more Cedar Fair parks will start doing.
Tmcdllr
It's so awesome and exciting to this this happening at this park finally..... can't wait for it to open!
asimowalk
Pretty sure I've said this numerous times already, and even though I won't be going down to this park anytime soon, I'm really excited for CGA. I think it will bring a new life into the park. From what I've seen online, the park areas look great already, but I wouldn't be surprised if they spent a lot more on maintenance and bring in new shows for 2013. Â It's time for this park to finally fit in with its former Paramount sisters. I'm expecting a Windseeker sometime soon.
Double0Kevin
^ Not likely with the strict height rules from the FAA. If we got a Windseeker, it would be a small one. And what's the point with SkyScreamer an hour and half away at Six Flags? I hope they add more unique rides.
Angry_Gumball
Just did another fun and exciting day at the park today. I met up with Robman, JeffyJosephNorcal, and Rolercstrluver and pretty much hung out for the day. Starting off, I actually made way for the Star Tower when I first got there as I just had to see Au13's verticalness! When boarding Star Tower, I saw some haunt construction...ready for this? Looks like Club Blood is also making a return! It's just been heavily altered from what I can tell. It appears to be using that big path that we used for entering CB last season. Also not much has changed with Au13 but I would say that we can expect more bents to be going up this week as there was a bunch of them stacked up waiting to go into their spot (like a K'nex set!). Also, there were numerous signs planted throughout the park promoting Au13 and the August 29th (Au29?) date, along with that huge banner at the construction wall. Â Today was one of the park's busier Sundays with that Fiesta Hispana evant but honestly I expected it to be far worse than it was in terms of waiting. It hasn't really been any different than most of my summer visits other the scent of burritos and carne asada in the air, along with the mix of different culture's music colliding. After waiting in a moderately busy line for FD we hit up Boomerang Bay, primarily riding DownUnder Thunder, and providing the lifeguards some entertainment as we caught some air. Grizzly was down this morning so we decided to do some Drop Tower fun. Demon had about 45 minutes of waiting and when we got off, the entire queue was spilling out of the entrance (we started in the cave under the lift). After lunch, we managed to cram all 5 of us into one of the logs. Yea, was not a pretty site! When we hit that splashdown, we were entirely soaked. Honestly, I have never been that soaked from the log ride, ever. Â Another thing to really note was that I ended up having to put on my Mr. Angry Eyes face to fend off some line jumpers. In line for Grizzly as the last ride of the day and a few loads away from riding and lined right up with the 2 others of the group (Robman had left just before, so 4 of us now), a couple of middle-schooler girls (the worst type of GP, ever in my opinion) just pushed their way through, no excuse me...and cut ahead of Rolercstrluver and I, and a couple that were ahead of me. I immediately out loud told them "Sorry, but this is not going to happen, you need to get back now." After putting their 'stupid face' on, the ones ahead of me also chimed in and told them the same. Pretending not to understand/hear us, I kept pushing the issue. People from the next row over were also stepping in. Hooray, strength in numbers! Honestly, what makes them exempt from park rules? Once I made threats of letting the employees know (and seconds from notifying one immediately), they go back out...after, giving me the dirtiest looks. So yea, line jumpers were fended off (insert Final Fantasy victory theme now). Â Random notes: -Ran into CoasterBeagle -Ran into Patman -Caught a wasp with my bare hand on Tiki Twirl (Does throwing the wasp afterwards count as throwing loose articles from the ride?) -Today was my first ride on Tiki for the season -We noticed some highlighted yellow spots on Vortex's track, a bright fluorescent yellow painted on the spine (lightly) every 15-20 feet or so. Easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Anyone know what this would be? Let the speculation begin! Â Pictures from the rest of the day now. As pointed out, a huge banner spans most of the construction wall. Some happy coaster nerds This was a common site throughout the park. Who here's 'bent' here with excitement!? Elephant, hiding between that trailer and footer tubes. He still lives! Drumstick/Scotch Tape dispenser/Bag Pipe pad, looks ready for concrete. Some work's been going on, that's for sure! Even the new stadium has gone vertical! This looks very surreal, even more-so in person! Oh, what's this I see? Club Blood 3.0! Hmm...where's White Water Safari? I think we're in line for it This was just crazy but fun! Next up, time to hit up the park's state of the art Intamin (kiddie) coaster! *Looks at map...looks up at surrounding area* Guys, know where I can find Kong? I don't see it around here anywhere! I see some new maze wood sitting back there! We see you Au13, trying to peek above the construction wall! Time for a late afternoon spin on the tower, just because there's not enough photos of the start of the Prudential/Middle Finger Turn Look at that lot now! And time to end it with an Instagrammed Loop-tee-loop!
robman
It was another awesome day at the park today, also im glad the lines were some what moderate and not overly crowded. Today I aldo hit a new record of the amount of Star Tower rides in one day, total I had three! Lets just say cramming five people into that log was a challenge but we were able to do it! Over all it was an awesome day at the park once again, just wondering how Club Blood is going to work out this year.
Blue Fire Guy
FINALLY!!! Construction has gone vertical! Â Thanks for the pics AngryGumball. My family and I are in Vienna right now (hitting up Prater), but when I come back, I'll be sure to head on over to CGA mid-late August to check this out. I just can't believe this is finally happening. By 2011, I had lost all hope for this thing...but now look! Can't wait for the official announcement on the 29th, and I'm already drooling looking at that GCI wood...
RAWKIN_coaster38
Great TR Angry_Gumball!! Au13 vertical construction looks awesome. You guys are crazy for cramming 5 people in that log... wanna try for 6? (okay probably not gonna happen). Â Oh, and I seriously laughed so hard at the SFDK map thing. Did you troll some of the GP with that?? "Excuse me, but do you know where this coaster is? *points at Medusa* I can't find it."

XYZ
Do you guys think it will be ready by May 4th when I go next? If so, there might be a TR with a review. Â Â ^This picture was taken of Terminator under construction at about the phase Au13 is at right now. That picture was taken in January and Terminator opened in late May, so I would expect that Au13 will open in March or April. So, the coaster will most likely be open by May 4th.
