MisterP Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 That crazy thing could kick the sh*t outta Mr. Lincoln!
Mechanic Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Listen. And understand. That Big Dog is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.
onewheeled999 Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I saw this thing yesterday on Attack of the Show, it's pretty dang awesome. I could imagine it going around theme parks, but they'd need to address to it's horribly loud buzzing.
GuruGuys Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 350lb payload = I could ride it! Forget a Segway, get your very own Big Dog! Â -GG
HerBlackWings Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Uh, this thing makes Silent Hill look like Sesame Street.
bobafett Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Be afraid, be very afraid! Thanks for the nightmare inducing vision Robb ! And that noise, it sounds a little like a.....well this is a PG rated web site so I'll keep that comment to myself but all the other ladies on this web site might know what I'm talking about !
dandaman Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 The LOST monster: revealed. Â I love the way it stumbles and recovers like that. Awesome.
dandaman Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Well, at least this one isn't electronic and can't take over the world on artificial intelligence alone. Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZ3_JAPpH3U Â Same type of construction, but with the shell added to the basic skeleton. Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2KkGFuRLew
Dark Vampire Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 It reminds me of the Simsons episode when they are going to Itchy and Scratchy land, and when the robots in the parade are attacking the visitors. Imagine this would happen with this new animatronic in a Disney parade.
Voyage_luvr Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 As cool as that thing is it really creeps me out. Interesting find Robb.
asr Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Amazing. I can't see it being used for theme parks for a long time, but the possibilities for theme park use is stunning. Imagine realistic animals walking around as theming, say, a wild west area with horses, a bear in sort of a mountain/forest kinda area, realistic animals for a ride like Jungle Cruise. The potential is endless.
BudtheWeiser Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 All I know is I want one could ride it to work
ECZenith Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 This creepy thing made it onto Attack of The Show yesterday!
dandaman Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 It reminds me of the Simpsons episode when they are going to Itchy and Scratchy land, and when the robots in the parade are attacking the visitors. Â Will we be treated to the soothing music of the Turtles sometime soon? Â //Obscure reference
Yankee cannonball Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 as cool as it is is, I must say... Â Scariest. Thing. Ever! Â the insane flailing on the ice will haunt my dreams forever.
Ed Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Yehh this thing is gonna give me nightnares...I think its the noise. :S
Vekomaman Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Yup this thing is going to be stuck in my head forever.
Xtreaam Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 the next dog play terminator 4 seriously that's really insane and scary.
Jhcbiinoc Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 I guess I'm not alone in thinking this, but I find that to be one of the creepiest and most disturbing things I have ever seen. It reminds me of something out of that video in "The Ring" or some avant garde indie horror film. Still-an impressive use of technology that would work great on a themed attraction if applied correctly.
Xtreaam Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 snake from jungle book and finding nemo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eO9oseiCTdk&NR=1
Manny In England Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 If that thing retaliated after being kicked I don't think there would have been anything that the guy could have done to save himself.
ETapley0687 Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 ^ lol  That was pretty wierd for me too... Actually for a second I felt sorry for it when it was sliding on the ice and stumbling lol. That would pretty much creep me crap out if i was on a ride and that came walking up to me! lol
