I saw the video and I was impressed by the stunts these riders were doing. I'm sure that these riders were professional stuntmen and probably trained long and hard to do stunts like that. Stuntmen like these dedicated their lives to understanding the risks involved, and no way should anyone else try them.

So I will enjoy the show, but don't ask me to duplicate those stunts. I'm a rider, not a stuntman.

But I got to admit, I love the hill flip!

This was also posted in the amazing slides thread.

Those stunts are so insane. Even if they are professional stuntmen and they wear special suites for those stunts, I'm almost sure that once in a while they get hurt badly.

Chuck Norris does all my stunts.

Well? Somebody had to say it! There's even a Walmart t-shirt now.

Those guys look like highly practiced and highly trained pro barefoot skiers or wake-boarders.

Boomerang Bay would bounce your butt for such ballistic buffoonery.

Ever heard of aggressive watersliding? I found some up on youtube back when the waterslide stunt got posted in the waterslide thread, not that I support any of the activities done. One was doing various stunts on a halfpipe slide and one was on those oldschool mat slides where people were doing mat grinds (on the lip of the slide), barrel rolls, and so on.

WORST CHUCK NORRIS JOKE EVER.

The stunts were pretty cool, it would be insane if you could do it without getting seriously hurt if you fail.

I have actually seen this show in the flesh, it was called the "Speed Slide Stunt Show" and was at Wet'n'Wild in Australia. Basically they would close the slide down for a period, and then do a bunch of cool and dangerous stunts. It ran for a number of years until the Speed Slide was replaced with an enclosed raft ride similar to Downhill Double Dipper at Blizzard Beach.

Attached is a photo my dad took ages ago on our first visit there.

I watched the video and realized that one of the stuntmen is a friend of mine. I worked with him on a cruise ship. I've sent him an email to see if I can get more information to post here!
