Davidicus400 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Yeah my question is are they making it? And will they add the suspended swinging coaster? I've always wanted to design with that one...
jamesissoocool Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Yeah my question is are they making it? And will they add the suspended swinging coaster? I've always wanted to design with that one... Q1 Yes. Q2 Nobody knows. Q3 Go get Scream Machines then.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 James pretty much nailed it... Â Although I think they will probably add suspended swingers, since they are aiming for Multi Dimensional ones also.
Sasquatch Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Who knows what they will add.... I haven't seen a Hypercoaster (Morgan or Arrow) appear yet, so thats a maybe...  it would be good if they added Vekoma's new style looping trains, and also a hydraulic launching system for Vekoma and Intamin coasters  There are so many styles to choose from...... god knows
brandon Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Hopefully they also make a B&M flier and dive machine.
sfmmfreak101 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 I've Heard rumors of a Spring-summer Release dates, but then again, just rumors.
Loefet Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 I found a couple of minutes of time to talk a bit about the things I was working on the last couple of months. I spend my time almost completely working on NoLimits 2. Its release date is still way in the future, most likely in the end of 2008 or beginning of 2009, but I just finished an important milestone of the new engine, so my progress hopefully advances a bit faster now that most parts of the basics are in place. About a year still...
sfotkid Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Well atleast they gave us a update to tide us over.
CCJared Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Hopefully they also make a B&M flier and dive machine. Â Phyter, a member of the development team said that they will almost certainly be including B&M Fliers and A new type of Hyper. But as we all know. Anything can happen.
Moose Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I too would absolutey love the for arrow suspendeds to be added but i am guessing the programming for those would be difficult (though i am not sure how much more difficult than spinning coasters) Â I have always wanted to build these rides myself, and the RCT version's track selection is far too limited for my liking.
hyyyper Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 i want 10 across diving machines, only then will i be happy
KrakenKing Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Yeah, I was tempted on buying ScreamMachines just for the suspended coasters. But I think I'll end up waiting for No Limits to add them. If they don't, then I'll go buy SM
Golfie Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 The new hyper coaster will probably either be the new 2-across-style B&M trains or the arrow hyper trains.
Tanks4me05 Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 ^^^ To have the smae experience, go into "fly by" mode, and just "sit" about 6 - 8 feet to the left or right of the far end of the 4 seat train - I'd say right about next to the ride op's control panel - that's what I did for the B&M Dive Machine I made - to get the right feel of the ride. But you just won't be able to get accurate lateral G force readings that way.
DBru Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 For those of us who have NoLimits, will this be a free update or will we have to pay for it (again)?
Loefet Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 ^ Probably pay for it, which I will happily do so that they can continue to develop the software.
EuroTre Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 What I think would really be an awesome update in No Limits 2 would be new woodie trains. Maybe Intamin, Premier, or Gerstlauer would be pretty sweet.
Moose Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 New train types are not as exciting as new coaster types, after all, you can get the overall feel of a coaster with a similar train, but the feel from a new coaster type is very different. We could have never gotten the feel of a spinner before those were introduced.
steel Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Follow-up question: I just got a new computer, which does not have No Limits right now. I know the chances of anyone being able to help much on this are slim, but should I get the new NL1 update now or wait for NL2 to come out?
riccoaster Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Well I'd get NL1 because NL2 could come out from 2008-2010, so thats a long gap to wait if it does.
