As much as I don't like the Giants, being an Eagles fan and all, I'm glad to see an NFC team finally win, and stop us from having to hear about the Patriots and their perfect season any longer. So, I tip my hat to you, Giants team.

Goood on the Giants they were major underdogs and they had their day.

Y'know, if you really run around screaming like that, you'd probably be tasered by now.

 

So, yeah, adequate game by both parties, though the overall points scored was a bit disappointing. Congrats to Eli and ilk; it's nice to hear the media tag "upset" to some other football team besides Michigan.

 

Now, on with the real reason for tonight's festivites: House.

^I'm actually more happy that NE didn't win the Super Bowl than I am about Miami being the only undefeated team still. Heck, I wasn't even born when Miami did that.

If the Patriots would have gone 19-0 we wouldn't have heard the end of it from any media outlet for months. Giants hype will be over in a week, but they deserve any attention that get.

Giants were better. Brady sucked (for the most part, 1st half).

Well.. I'm not sure that the Giants are the better team, but they sure as hell played better than the Patriots, and they came out on top. Guess the Patriots didn't have another close victory in them. So many close games this year, finally they lose. Honestly... this may have been the best way for their season to end - and by best I mean most painful To be SO CLOSE to 19-0 and the title, only to lose it. Manning's elusive scramble that ended in the big 30+ yard toss was awesome. I wasn't really interested much in the game, and honestly thought that the first 3 quarters were just ok, but that was a great finale.

 

The way Steve Smith played, I guess Joey was right: USC won

I wasn't either, but my parents had season tickets for it. That sorta counts, right?

 

Either way, I popped my champagne for it last night!

although I think Mercury Morris should be commited to the loony bin.

 

FYI - I love all the people picking the Giants in this poll now that the game is over.
