coasterdude5
Looks great, I know Gravity Group can build using wood, but it's a change to see them using mostly wood. (so far anyway)
Airtime&Gravity
I have to agree it is strange to see a GG like this. Their past two coasters have been so unique, that it is strange to see a traditional looking coaster like this. This looks like a coaster I'd expect from GCI but not GG
easytoremember
I like traditional wood structure more than steel structure. I think it looks much nicer.

fergusonat
This coaster looks great so far. I agree, wood-structured woodies are so much more aesthetically pleasing than steel-structured ones. Besides, steel-structured woodies tend to become unbearably rough unless taken care of properly
BiCoastal Kid
Also, being that it';s the more bulky looking wood supports, it will really make it look like that much more of a squeeze. Â ALSO, look how tight the clearance is on that thing!!!
Guest
So yeah, it's called the Boardwalk Bullet! I like the name, is niiice. Â http://rcdb.com/id3757.htm
ghost007jas
Oh yes the Gravity Group goodness  This ride (as with all GG's) I am quite sure will be amazing!  By taking a look at Bullet's older brothers (Voyage and Hades) this ride is going to be amazing!  I will be following the construction for this ride very closely.  Thanks for the great photo's coasterphoto they are appreciated. coasterphotos
Here are some photos from today. More from today can be seen in my photo gallery. A sign announcing the ride is finally up. coasterdude5
Looks like progress is coming along, the banner looks cool, too. Does anyone know what part of the ride that is? Â I hope I somehow get to ride this.
coasterphotos
I believe it's the section of track that will be to the front of the station...as in you'll leave the station looking at the section that is currently going up before turning to go up the lift. garbear27
Thank you for the photo updates...looks like a winner! I hope to get to Houston this summer! Â Too bad Astroworld is gone...
Homer
Boardwalk Bullet, eh? Sounds like a badass coaster name to make up for the renaming of Hellevator... Â And on that sign, did anybody mistake that bullet for the Mario villain "Bullet Bill"?
almightyfire
I havent been this excited about a coaster here in texas eva. when the titan opened at SFOT, i wasnt that excited because i had already ridden the goliath. i live 40 minutes from KEMAH and i think that I will be adding a lot of miles on my car this summer. I just hope that it runs daily and not over $5.00 per ride. If it is i will be dippping into my 401K. I was a big fan of height, but these woodies nowadays have so many elements, banked turns and airtime that height isnt as important to me.
coasterphotos
Maybe one day we'll see the sun here in the Houston area again...but for now here are some more cloudy Boardwalk Bullet photos. A different angle showing all the land clearing that has taken place (this used to be a parking lot and a small grassy area) Quite a bit of progress has been made since last week
robbalvey
Here are some new photos that were sent to me today by the coaster's builders Martin & Vleminckx. Thanks guys!!! ....and this pile of dirt can be YOURS for this exclusive TV offer of just $29.95..... And a slightly closer in shot.... Nice overview of the construction site. This really makes me want to get my job back as a crane operator! This should certainly be on your "must do" 2007 coaster list! Here is what a roller coaster construction would look like.....if you were in prison! Oooh...can you say Head Chopper? They've got quite a few people putting this one together. This is photographic proof that yes....yes they are building a wooden roller coaster!
the sound
^ If i pay by credit card for that pile of dirt, will they through in some Screws as well? What if i pay withing the next 10 minutes, can i get it for $19.95? Â Â Anyway, its looking a little better then i previously assumed. But whereabouts is the Boardwalk in this place? Looks like Rural Texas from the photos I've seen!

Jive
^You need to work on customizing your Gallery2. Â This may have been mentioned already but are they beefing up the supports because of hurricanes? It just looks really dense.

It just looks really dense. j Yeah...someday...don't have the time for my site like I did a few years back.  I haven't heard anything official about extra support because of the hurricane threat but I'm sure it'll be asked this weekend at the ACE Winterfest event in Galveston. If it isn't asked, I'll make sure to ask it myself! We should be having guests from Kemah come talk about the new ride.
Jive
That Gallery software can be a real pain once you start messing it with but the customization options are practically limitless. Â Have any animations come out for this one?
