Shockwave Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 This one. Lap-bar only hang time! Turbine stuck upside down.
astroworldfan1 Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 It would have to be the Fire Ball/Mega Loop things that all it is a loop.
Loco Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 V2 at SFDK has the best hangtime of any coaster ive been on.
DBru Posted December 3, 2007 Author Posted December 3, 2007 Oh yeah, I forgot about the hang time on the last corkscrew of FoF. I like it, but too bad it has to be that way........ (stupid MCBR!)
Moose Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 The Maure Sohne Skyloops have just enough hangtime to make them interesting, especially in the front when waiting for the back of the train to get up the lift. I loved Abismo.
matteocrepaldi Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I'm pretty sure the S&S Screaming Squirrel has the most hangtime. Totally agree.
verticalzero Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 A Suspended coaster has the most hangtime. X-Coasters and Screaming Squirrel have the most.
Billy Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 i remember Batman: The Dark Knight at SFNE having some good hang in the vertical loop. anybody esle feel it?
TopThrill182 Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I'd actually have to vote for Viper at SFMM. Those two ending corkscrews are just great.
Six Flags Addict Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Mr. Freeze at SFSTL has some good hang-time going through the top hat backwards. I actually laugh every time going through the top hat backwards because that is where my cousin started repenting because he thought he was going to die. (which is even funnier to me because I pretty much did the same thing the first time I rode it)
RCfanatic Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 The S&S Screaming Squirrel has the most hang-time, but i like Colossus at Thorpe more because of the variation, its like "hang,sit,hang,sit,hang,sit,..." and with the Screaming Squirrel the hanging gets annoying after a while.
jamjar Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 I went to DlP about a month ago, and the hangtime in the first two inversions on Rock'n'Rollercoaster was incredible! i was being held in by my shoulders! Plus, it is the smoothest vekoma ive ever been on!
cobra_roll06 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 ^ Yeah I totally agree. I was in June and was quite shocked as I had ridden the coaster 5 years before and couldn't remember there being much hang-time.
Hurricane Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 I reckon the Vekoma Waikiki Wave Super Flips have AMAZING hangtime (depending on the program) Theres one part of the cycle that leaves you hanging against the harness for a GOOD 10 - 15 seconds in a row!
