My Top 5 from Pixar are Toy Story 3, Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, and the Incredibles

Also will be seeing Desolation of Smaug tonight. Will edit this post with a review.

REVIEW - The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is a vast improvement over the enjoyable first film. The special effects are very nice (particularly with Smaug) and there are some great performances, particularly from Orlando Bloom, Richard Armitage, and Luke Evans, among others. There was an unnecessary minor storyline in the film that could've been removed and wouldn't have done anything but trimmed down the time. 9/10

I'm surprised how if you go to American Hustle's wiki page, it has been nominated for a million awards and hasn't even been released!

Not saying awards make a movie good, but that's impressive if not a little strange.

Anyway, I've been looking forward to that movie since I saw the trailer, so I'm excited for it opening!

I'm intrigued by that one, too. It's funny to think that a movie set in the 1970s, the decade when I was in high school, is a "period piece."

I finally watched Man of Steel last night. I would say it's OK (better than Superman Returns), but I'm not all that enthused about this latest reworking of Superman. The sequel might be interesting if the rumors that Bryan "Breaking Bad" Cranston could be the next Luthor--"Superman v. Walter White," anyone?

Just saying, but if FROZEN doesn't win the Oscar for

Best Animated feature, I will stop watching the Academy Awards.

And for the record - "Let It Go" to win for Best Song.

Disney has ended the year magnificently, with this new film.

And it must be seen on the Big Screen at least once, to enjoy

all the amazing visuals, music, characterizations...

and Josh Gad as Olaf the snowman! Perfect casting. 9.5 out of 10

And eventually, coming out in this. Hopefully, a 3D version will be released as well.

Actually I was hearing rumors he may be cast in Fox's upcoming show "Gotham" as Commissioner Jim Gordon.

Wow. We got a movie in Australia before you guys? Awesome! Saw this one on Friday night and really, really enjoyed it. Fantastic script and casting with some very witty dialogue. Christian Bale is almost unrecognisable and Jennifer Lawrence is at her best as his ditzy wife. Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams do a great job as well. The story is very good, and the ending has a decent twist that isn't too "convenient" as to be unbelievable. Won't be surprised if this one wins some prizes.

I saw the hunger games (catching fire) last Saturday and I did quite enjoy it. Definitely as good or even better than the first one (to me): great acting, thrilling and seems a bit more grown up compared to the first. Would definitely recommend it. And now I will be left for one more year waiting for the next one and two more for the conclusion.

I could not agree more with you. They really out did theirselves with this movie. It is so beautifully done and the story line is really good.

Also anyone that see notice that Rapunzel and her husband show up in one scene to show they are still together? Also there is a hidden mickey while at the lodge in the woods.

"Frozen": It's unanimously among my family that "Frozen" is one of the best movies Disney has put out in a long time! The story was great with plenty of dramatic moments and a few twists that keeps you interested in the plot. The animation is absolutely beautiful, the characters were all fun and likable, especially Olaf. I will admit that I thought Olaf would kill the movie for me, but surprisingly I thought he was really funny and he ended up being my favorite character. And of course, "Let It Go" is by far the highlight of the movie.

If you haven't already, go see it! You won't regret it!

I am excited that Saving Mr. Banks comes out soon.

So am I. So much so, I already bought the soundtrack, before seeing the film!

And I noticed in the current preview trailers, they "softened" up Travers a

bit, showing her actually laugh in a scene, and smiling in another. Rather

than like the original trailers, where she was just not happy with anything.

Emma Thompson got dissed for turning Travers into an unlikeable character.

But from reports from those who worked with the actual Travers - she was!

Until it all turned around, she lightened up, and the rest was movie history for "Poppins".

And you can't really trust trailers entirely, until you've seen the entire film.

^Movie trailers really annoy me these days. Not only do they give away most of the plot, they also include the best lines from the film, so nothing is a surprise! There's nothing that makes me want to see a comedy less than hearing all of its jokes crammed into 2.5 minutes.

Saw Anchorman 2 last night. Pretty solid, basically the same plot as the first movie but still very funny and a good film overall. I think fans of the first film will enjoy it as it's different enough to still be interesting, and there are some great lines and surprising cameos throughout.
