Wood Dragon 1988
I love the fact that Indy lost, just because 90% of NFL experts thought the Colts would blow SD to pieces. Norv will not coach in the Super Bowl, however. At least not this year!
spaceace12
Time for a new season, time for the Colts to break in a wonderful new stadium with the best season they can have. Here is week one's regular season schedule. Thursday, Sept. 4 Washington Redskins at New York Giants 7 p.m. NBC Sunday, Sept. 7 Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens 1 p.m. CBS Sunday, Sept. 7 New York Jets at Miami Dolphins 1 p.m. CBS Sunday, Sept. 7 Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots 1 p.m. CBS Sunday, Sept. 7 Houston Texans at Pittsburgh Steelers 1 p.m. CBS Sunday, Sept. 7 Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans 1 p.m. CBS Sunday, Sept. 7 Detroit Lions at Atlanta Falcons 1 p.m. FOX Sunday, Sept. 7 Seattle Seahawks at Buffalo Bills 1 p.m. FOX Sunday, Sept. 7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints 1 p.m. FOX Sunday, Sept. 7 St. Louis Rams at Philadelphia Eagles 1 p.m. FOX Sunday, Sept. 7 Dallas Cowboys at Cleveland Browns 4:15 p.m. FOX Sunday, Sept. 7 Carolina Panthers at San Diego Chargers 4:15 p.m. FOX Sunday, Sept. 7 Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers 4:15 p.m. FOX Sunday, Sept. 7 Chicago Bears at Indianapolis Colts 8:15 p.m. NBC Monday, Sept. 8 Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers 7 p.m. ESPN Monday, Sept. 8 Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders 10:15 p.m. ESPN Also, I was thinking about this, how about we have a week by week contest. We pick winners each week, one point for each correct pick, then we see who is ahead by week 11 and have a mini playoff and a final one at week 17. Just a idea, a little simplier than fantasy football. Wish I had a better antenna for HDTV so I could get NBC local hd. All I get is CBS local hd. revilolee
Sounds like a great idea. When do you want to start?
spaceace12
Depends how many others want to do it, if it is only two of us, no reason to. It would start with week one of the regular season.
King of Ka
I'd sign up for the "weekly winners" game, although I can almost guarantee I'll come in a distant last.
Exceller
I'd sign up for the game, sounds like a good idea to me.
coastercrazed49
I would like to do it, but I get to busy during the Fall and Winter, so I couldn't keep up with it. BTW I really feel that the Redskins are going to be really good this year. Maybe even Superbowl contenders?
spaceace12
I am not going ot limit how many get in, but am going to limit how many get in by setting a date. Sept. 1st is the day I cut it off. The only 2 rules I will have for this is, no editing posts once you select your picks for the week (once the deadline for picks has been passed) and picks are due 48 hours prior to the first game of the week (even weeks when there is Thursday games. alpengeist04
All I'm asking for is a week one victory for the Dolphins. ...any other win is just gravy. BTW I really feel that the Redskins are going to be really good this year. Maybe even Superbowl contenders? I'm hoping they come in last, so that it's a higher 2nd round draft pick for the Dolphins in 2009. BTW, I'm up for the weekly contest.
piggy4891
Sounds like a great idea, I am definitely in for the contest. Will you post a list of who all is playing at a certain date? BTW Go Colts!!!

coastercrazed49
WHY! Tom Brady is most likely out for the season! Now the Patriots have to rely on Matt Castle for possibly the rest of the season. Does anyone have predictions on how the Pats will fair the 2008 season if they don't have Brady? spaceace12
Without Brady, lucky to make the playoffs. But that all depends on who they get behind Casssell. He isn't 100% out for season, won't know until tomorrow. I wonder if this will move the Pats/Colts game that was for Monday night or Sunday night in a few weeks. I really want to have my co workers earn some money by working games for CBS (well, I would like to work all of them, but that wouldn't be fair.). coaster05
WHY! Tom Brady is most likely out for the season! Now the Patriots have to rely on Matt Castle for possibly the rest of the season. Does anyone have predictions on how the Pats will fair the 2008 season if they don't have Brady? Maybe as well as they did when Brady replaced Bledsoe. Seriously good teams can recover from the loss of anyone, even their quarterback.
mcjaco
Last night I kept waiting for the Bears to blow it. What a refreshing relief. I think we may actually have a running back that finally produces.
coaster05
Why did you bring back Thomas Jones and not try to make him lose his job to Benson?
coastercrazed49
Bill Belichick just made the announcement. Brady tore his ACL and will require season ending surgery... Well Simms might come over to the Pats for the QB position for the season. The Patriots playoff chances are very shaky now.
