Jeezus Juice Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 All night rave at Typhoon Lagoon! I just might go gay for that! I almost actually bought a ticket for Gay Day at disneyland just so I could stay in the park after hours and go into the former "Festival of Fools" area. From what I remember the tickets were resonably priced. Oh wes, a fag is a cigarette dude. -Don
Twister II Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 Personally, I find gay people offensive. Thaty's why my church group and I have decided to do an in park protest. We are all getting matching red shirts with our groups name (Far Away, Gay!)...that's alot of words for a shirt, though. We might have to make it an acronym. Look for the red shirts that say F.A.G! on them. You are so stupid. Why are you telling us that you are going to protest?! Because probly you will be stopped even before you get there! If you church groups/people can't see everyone as equal, well, you would be like the KKK. And what ever happened to Jesus loves everyone?
Paul Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 ^I think he was being sarcastic... Being gay myself, I wouldn't want to go to the park on one of these days, either...since I'm more of a quiet gay I guess. I mean, it's great that they have special days for gays...and people really shouldn't have a problem with it...but I just wouldn't really want to take part in it. I didn't do day of silence, either.
JT3000 Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 I just wanna know one thing... when are they holding Hetero Days? Equal rights, people. Equal rights.

Stupid head, to understand anything in this world, you have to understand sarcasm. Anyways, those Hetero Days sound intresting. Maybe Minnie Mouse could lead us up Main Street giving us occasional looks at her garters.
Twister II Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Hetero day are everyother days except gay days. It doesn't mean just people of that orientation just go.
Sir Clinksalot Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Hetero Days = Night of Joy Zing! p.s. - if you can't pick up sarcasm/satire, I'd advise not sitting at the grown up table.
Wes Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Night of Joy is the biggest gay day of the year. A bunch of dudes proclaiming their everlasting love for a bearded guy in a white robe and sandals...sounds gay to me!
AllisonY2K Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 A bunch of dudes proclaiming their everlasting love for a bearded guy in a white robe and sandals...sounds gay to me! Sounds like a harem to me.
Neogreeneyez Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 I don't think every person at Night of Joy would run to tounge and fondle Jesus... funny but bad thought... I believe every gay person do what ever you want when ever you want and how ever you want but... have common sense if your at WDW chill with the butt grabbing and tounge kissing....
FlyingScooter Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 EveryBody have fun tonight... Everbody Wang-Chung tonight.... (i'm not sure why, but this song popped into my head while reading the last several entries.
disneygurlz2s Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 It's because of all this hype and controversy that PKI now closes the park for a corporate private party on the first Sunday of June. Trust me, as a former park employee, I can assure that the parks find this as a "damned if you do; damned if you don't" issue. Shari "Why can't we all just get along?" Shoufler
coasterking Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Yeah gay people aren't sinners unless they commit sexual acts since they can't reproduce. Anyway, why do people have to parade their sexuality about? Just do normal stuff for crying out loud, I don't have problem with gay people but why do some gay men act like women. Just because they like men doesn't mean to act different of their gender. Thats bullcrap doing that sexual type stuff in a public, family themepark, gay or straight.

Gregory DG Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Funny, I just happened to notice this website on a billboard today as I drove to Orlando to pick a friend at the airport. http://www.gaydays.com/

Sir Clinksalot Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 hmmmm... May be a tad difficult to get you that donut...
BiCoastal Kid Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Funny, I just happened to notice this website on a billboard today as I drove to Orlando to pick a friend at the airport. http://www.gaydays.com/ That site makes me want to kill myself.
DenDen Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 actually, the official website is http://www.gayday.com/default.asp "gaydayS" is a spin-off organization trying to capitalize on the event. You'd think, after 15 years of doing this, people would be over this by now.
haiderodes Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 while disney doesn't actively promote the event, nor to they post "warnings" they do provide free t-shirts to those guests who perhaps didnt know about the whole red shirt thing. last year they also did a special early opening of the other parks...they put a note in each hotel room stating due to large crowds at mk, they were offering an early opening at the other parks for all guests.
Movieguy Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Hey, quit going after coasterking for what he said. He never said he hates gays, just what some of them may do in public, just like he'd probably have a problem with straight couples doing the same thing in a public place, like I would. Not wanting to see a gay couple having public displays of affection does NOT, I repeat, does NOT automatically make that person a homophobe, or anti-gay, or an oppressive fundamentalist type, or what have you.
mboy81 Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 It's because of all this hype and controversy that PKI now closes the park for a corporate private party on the first Sunday of June. Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the pride night for PKI is on a Friday night in October. It's actually a great night to go. Since it's a "private" event, the lines are pretty much non-existent, and they play dance music over the PA. When I went one year, the crowds were very well-behaved (MUCH better behaved than the normal PKI crowd). I don't think the day the park is closed in June is gay day, unless I never got the memo. I do admit that the circuit-party atmosphere at WDW has gotten way out-of-hand, the other gay day events at other parks are actually quite normal days. In fact, I would go as far as to say that Father's Day at CP is one of the best days to go to the park for gays AND straights.
Shadowforce Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Hey, quit going after coasterking for what he said. He never said he hates gays, just what some of them may do in public, just like he'd probably have a problem with straight couples doing the same thing in a public place, like I would. I think what made people respond is his claim that homosexuals are sinners if they commit sexual acts, since they can't reproduce. I know for sure I found that rather provocative.
