TatsuTerror Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 What will happen to Theme Park Review, will you continue to run the site?
TatsuTerror Posted May 6, 2007 Author Posted May 6, 2007 You can...but eventually things go wrong. Neck problems, back problems, etc. can stop you from riding. It depends on the person of course. I know fifty year olds who go on coaster trips and fifty year olds who can't ride anymore.
TatsuTerror Posted May 6, 2007 Author Posted May 6, 2007 In all seriousness, have you ever thought about what you are going to do?
Wes Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Who cares really? Â 1. They aren't even that old to begin with. It's not like Robb is 64 or something (yet ). My grandpa rode Batman at SFMM when he was like 74. Â 2. The site Theme Park Review, not Extreme Roller Coaster Review. They can still visit parks and have a good time even if they aren't riding the new S&S-Intamin 12D Rocket Barfinator. Â 3. Who knows if this website, let alone ANY website will exist in its current form in the future. You're probably young and don't remember that 15 years ago there basically WAS NO internet! 10 years ago you couldn't upload video, forums like TPR have only really populated over the past seven years. Technology will constantly change.
BarryH Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 I thought Erik Johnston would take over TPR when R&E can't do it anymore.
Ryan King Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 We'll turn the site over to you. Â Awww..then can I become a MOD?
ParkTrips Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Have more sex? Since EGF is 100 times better than normal sex, then you could just settle I guess. Or have amazing sex, either way...
TatsuTerror Posted May 6, 2007 Author Posted May 6, 2007 I know people at TPR like to joke around, but I posted in "Ask Alvey" and this thread is already over a page long...yet no real thoughts from you, Elissa. I don't want to come off as rude, but I was trying to really ask a question.
ghost007jas Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 I'm sure they have not even thought about something like that. Lets face it thats not a popular dinner time subject
BarryH Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 You can co-own the site with that Tatsu person! Â Let's see... Â "Pound-It Man and Tatsu Guy" Â It sounds like a bad Marvel Team-Up!
robbalvey Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 I know people at TPR like to joke around, but I posted in "Ask Alvey" and this thread is already over a page long...yet no real thoughts from you, Elissa. I don't want to come off as rude, but I was trying to really ask a question. I thought the world was ending in 2013 anyway? Â --Robb
Airtime&Gravity Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 ^It might (something like 1 in several thousands chance which is actually high space wise) unless our government finds a way to stop the giant meteor from crashing into the earth, but nope, our government has better ideas to use that money instead of potentially saving the earth. Â As for the topic, I'll accept the fact I can't ride, and I'll go on with life. I don't want it to happen, but there will come a time when I can't ride.(What, you want a different answer? If you do, then read earlier posts.)
SharkTums Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 I'm pretty sure the scientists said that in 2013 it won't hit Earth...but... Â They don't know what passing so close will do to its orbit so when it passes by the next time (which is also on a Friday the 13th) then it will take us out!
SharkTums Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 My bad, just did the research... Â Yeah so it won't kill us in 2013...it will be Friday, April 13th 2029! Although they're saying now that it probably won't kill us then either...instead it will swing around Earth and get us in 2035. Oh, and it will only take out an area the size of Texas, so no worries!
robbalvey Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Oh, and it will only take out an area the size of Texas And wouldn't it be ironic if it actually took out Texas? Â --Robb "What would be the odds of that?" Alvey
bigjohnson51 Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Hm... I'll make sure I don't make a trip to Texas in 2035.
TheBannedKid Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 I thought the Mayan calendar predicted the world to end December 21, 2012...TPR won't stand a chance!
cfc Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Actually, the world's been over for quite some time. We are all the figment of some cosmic giant's imagination, who exists as an atom on the right hoof of an even more enormous space donkey. Â So, no worries.
BarryH Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 ^I thought we were all part of the Tommy Westphall Universe.
sfne2005 Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 What will it matter anyways if the earth gets hit by a giant meteor? We will all be living and riding coasters on the moon! I wonder what a coaster would be like on the moon anyways.......
bigjohnson51 Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 ^ Ha you should start a thread (Snickers to himself).
