The ride there took about four hours, the wait to get my pass processed took another hour, and my time in the park was limited to say the least. Anyways, I think the pictures will do the talking, but first, some quickies: Vortex: Seatbelts IJST: SIRENS WORKED! Cedar Fair seems to want to make the effects work again... Cedar Fair's impact: I like what I see, other than the killing of my Vortex airtime...Good things shall come to Kings Island. *Edit* Apparently I uploaded them in reverse order...Oh well. The next batch will be up in the correct order Welcome to the report. Step aboard! Home sweet home..in sideways vision! Transportation in today's event. I took the red bus. Hooray air conditioning! My travelling companion, Sir Doug-not-a-member-of-this-site Trees! Through the trees! Taking a break at the reststop of doom Apparently, my happy juice machines are serving time... Me reading a book. A sight you will never see again A route to an alternate dimension where Paramount still controls the park? Cedar Fair has been wonderful about taking down those pesky Paramount signs Great Wolf...through the trees! I'd join in worship, but I cant find that park... HAHAHAHAHA! It has a loop... A sign that Cedar Fair has taken over I cant wait for this baby to open! New park logo It took ages to get through the pass processing line... ..but I got it! Notice anything missing? I love the signs in the IJST queu Italian Job, through a tree! Apparently the Eiffel Tower is by a city garage now. SIGNATURE SHOT, GO! Coney Island's (Cincinnati) dodgems pwn these, and I'm not just saying that because I like to opperate them. Happy funtime themed coaster was running great Mmmm, Vortex. The reason I came today! Reason number two for making the trip Outer Limits area means one thing... FIREHAWK CONSTRUCTION PHOTO! And in sideways vision! Photospot more that likely Up-skirt shot! Yup...thats us? Reon Posted April 23, 2007 Author Share Posted April 23, 2007 Doug took basically all the photos, and never resized them...As for being positive, some people just hate their park I guess...Aside from the great Arrow seatbelting, I dont really see anything bad about the park. Why yes it is. He worked there for 8 years, or so I have been told. My career isnt as famous though. 1 year at Coney so far To answer some other questions, yes that is my pimping Dueling Dragons shirt. I tend to wear it whenever I go to a park, or atleast until I get some new shirts... I had my e-ticket all ready for the pass, but the line was BUSY! I got the shirt at the giftshop next to dragons. Reon Posted April 26, 2007 Author Share Posted April 26, 2007 Yes you should. Aside from a few small quirks like the lack of Intamin/B&M, KI is a good park. Make sure to go to Coney Island while your in town. Its a small park now, but there is a credit to be had As for Intamin, I think I found our subliminal hint for next year (though it's a long shot.) On all of the signs for Souvenier cups, theres a picture of Accelorator. Could this be a sign of a small rocket? We certainly have the room to build, and CF has taken the wheel...
