When I saw them at a very young age (about 3) at 6 flags magic mountain I could not ride anything but I loved every bit of it. So since then I have been trying to analyze them and ride as many as possible until I loose my voice.

California Screamin is my favorite!

But ever since i remember ive have a love for rollercoasters. It annoys my friends though because they always want to walk round a park slowly and im always dragging them around!

Sept. 2nd, 2006! My first big coasters, yeah, I was a chicken before that! Legend, then Voyage, then raven. HW can create monsters, and not just coasters, but coaster fanatics!

Not until very recently actually, I hated coasters until I decided that I would try and work my way up from Blue Streak to the bigger rides when I was at Cedar Point. As luck would have it, my dad decided to go straight to Millennium Force, but I decided that I would ride it later in the day. However, my dad convinced me that the lines would be too long any later.

The ride was a walk-on, there was absolutly no-one there, except me, my dad, my brother, and my sister (who was just 5 or 6 years old at the time). Suspensefull music was playing. We got on, and soon enough we went up the lift hill, when my sister delivered the killer line...

"I just remembered, I'm afraid of heights".

After that, everything was a blur, what I do remember was that I screamed as much as I could, I practically lost my voice half way through the ride. I was so dizzy when I got off. And that's my story.

I always liked drawing the coasters even though I was too afraid to ride them as a kid. However, I would go on just about any flat I could. I realized my coaster addiction after being dragged onto the Giant Dipper at Santa Cruz. Grizzly was my first true big coaster but being a young casual coaster rider, unbiased toward manufacturer and stuff, I then realized that Grizzly sucked. I do recall after a trip to Great America, coming home with a handful of park maps (for no apparent reason) just in case one got damaged or lost, I'd have one as backup as well as either drawing my rendition of a certain ride or building rides out of my legos. I then rediscovered my addiction when I did my first inverting coaster at Knotts several years later, which was Wind Jammer and Boomerang. From there, I was ready to take anything on.

Last year in 8th grade (I am in 9th now) my Modular Tech teacher was gone and we played RCT1. It went to game 2 then 3 and now I have NL. I guess last year is when I realized my love for coasters.

Sad part is in my 2-3 years of living within driving distance of many great parks, I have only been on 5 different coasters.

Way back in 1995, I went to WDW, and I had a great time. Though my trip was cut short because of a hurricane, I obtained a love of these rides. Over the years, I would go to some more parks such as: Camp Snoopy, SFGAM,SV, and Como Park, and I would continue to watch them on T.V. and ride the ones I could. In 2002, I finally worked up the courage to ride American Eagle and Viper at SFGAM. I would not visit another park until CP in 04, but due to lines, the largest coaster I rode was Gemini. In 2005, I returned to SFGAM and ride my first hyper, invert, and flyer(my second looping coaster) in one day, and the love continues to this day.

I liked coasters ever since my dad forced me on Montezuma's Revenge at Knott's. All I remember is gripping the lap bar really tight, closing my eyes, and clenching my teeth. I came off and loved coasters ever since.

Your love for coasters...when did you realize?

When I damn well pleased to...

Actually, I think it all started with my first ride on Ninja at SFMM. We skipped school to go to the park (or at least thats what I thought for a long time, it ends up I was at a year-round school and we just got on our month long break) and I pussied out...I would not ride Revolution cuz it inverted. But after a ride on Ninja I became a man, grew some rather large and hairy balls, and rode my first looper. But I think I first realized it around 6th grade...

May 13th, 2006: The day I decided to face my fears.

Up until this day, I was terrified of any ride that had a drop steeper than 20 degrees or went upside-down... But I decided to start with Viper at SFMM.

Baaaaad idea... Rough, intense, and pretty much scarred me for the day. Then, my friend bugged me just enough to get me on The Riddler's Revenge. I was terrified, but about 30 seconds into the ride, I realized how totally awesome roller coasters are...

Ever since, I've been a coaster nut!

my first coaster was BTMR at DL or MK, im not really sure which, but my love for coasters started after my first coaster with inversions which was the Canyon Blaster in the Adventure Dome in Vegas.

I recently was there and rode again, man that thing has gotten rough and intense. And now my shoulders are so big the restraints made them bleed.

I found my love for coasters when my dad took me on American Eagle at SFGAm when I was 7. I was soooo nervous for my first inversion on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney World. After those two, I still wasn't hooked. It took me until I rode every single coaster at SFGAm to catch the coaster bug!

After i rode my first looping coaster which was Top Gun at GA (My brother forced me on it)I was around 10. I remember crying and being soo scared. When we got off my legs were shaking but at the same time I was laughing because it was so much fun.

After that I pretty much started to love coasters, and started finding all these sites dedicated on coasters.

My Love of coasters was started by this

1: after riding corkscrew at Valleyfair (I remenber saying to my older sister that if I died, she was paying for my funeral.

2 That same sister gave me a Coaster calender that had coasters from X to the Dominator at Geauga.

Ok, the first roller coaster ride for me was Windjammer Surf Racers (red track) back in April 1998. I don't remember it being as bad as everyone says, so I was sad when they demolished it. I didn't get really into coasters until sometime in 2000 when I saw a "Top 10 Coasters show" on the Discovery Channel. That led me to going to (formerly) SFMW for the first time since they added roller coasters, and to getting RCT1.
