coasterdude5
Update Year 52 The 52nd season of HHE is flying by and preparations are already being made for next year's addition! It's most likely going to be a flat ride, but which one? It's "unofficially official" - several buyers are looking at this chunk of the Hershey Hawaii Resort. I've heard one company is even in talks with Hershey to keep the brand intact so guests wouldn't even notice the change in ownership. I'll keep everybody updated. At least they're not looking at selling the entire park! Excavation has been suffering extensive downtime lately. The first half of the ride is causing some unwanted stress on the ride's "mountain building". Taco Bell has extended its contract with the park for at least three more years! Storm has been the parks most-reliable coaster so far this season! The Year 53 attraction should be announced tomorrow! More soon.

coasterdude5
Update Year 52 Small update for today, but this is a new development that surprised me. Several rides around the park could be leaving, including Surf! Other rides include the railroad and Zhambi Sidewinder, all for an "attraction" dubbed Project Emerald. What is project Emerald? Well, Emerald is the "element" for a 55th anniversary, much like gold is for a 50th, respectively. I am told that this "multi-sensory ride" would load where surf is now and would go all over the park. I guess only time will tell. More soon! Sunfire
Over the last three days I have read this entire thread, and I must say: this is the BEST RCT3 park I've ever seen! It's so incredible. So much changed in 50 years.
coasterdude5
Update Year 53 Announcement CHAOS STRIKES HERSHEY'S HAWAIIAN ESCAPEHERSHEY HAWAII - Hershey is unveiling a twisted new attraction this year for the bravest of thrill-seekers. Chaos will flip and spin riders all at the same time. The ride is one of a few in operation in the country. Hershey has worked out techical issues to debut the safest, most comfortable ride available to riders. Riders will sit in pairs as they are rotated around and up as they spin in each individual car. The ride will be located under Zhambi Sidewinder. This year has been dubbed "Year of Chocolate" by Hershey. Throughout the park guests will have the opportunity to taste test various chocolates from Hershey and from other parts of the world. This year is sure to be a hit at Hershey Hawaii! coasterdude5
Hey guys tonight Memphis was hit pretty hard by numerous tornadoes. Many are injured and the death toll is still rising. Right now we're under another tornado warning as I type this... Just keep the city of Memphis (and surrounding area) in your thoughts tonight. Thanks! Update Year 53 Chaos is up and running! The ride is pretty photogenic. Some work still has to be done to the queue line but the ride is operating. There we go. The ride adds more activity to this area of the park. View across from the bay Storm's station looks out of place from this view. Overbank!!! Who's winning? Down the halfloop. More soon.

Moose
I'm sort of surprised HHE is adding a chaos when most parks are removing theirs. Let's hope they maintain it so the whole carriage shearing off from the base doesn't happen to this one. I love these rides so I think it's good that a park is taking the risk. Looks good, as always. vedved82491
You could always say it's Chaos developed from a new company. S&S lol. Seems like they take over bankrupt companies ;D The remanufactured Chaos 2!!!! As far as the Tornados in your area, best of luck with that. I heard about it this morning. Stay safe and alert. coasterdude5
Update Year 53 Going on up... The park was somewhat busy today. I went to the waterpark for the first time in a while. The former logos have been put back up throughout the park. I've heard Hard Rock Cafe might be leaving in the not-so-distant future. The 50-year banners have been removed. No word on what (if anything) will be their replacement. I'm surprised, they've removed nearly all of any references to their 50-year anniversary. Word is that Surf is still on the way out for the massive Project: Emerald for Year 55. Waikiki Whizzer has been a hit with the families. The park's gift shop has been here for nearly fifty years. More soon.
