Guest Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Bear down Chicago Bears, make every play clear the way to victory. Bear down Chicago Bears, put up a fight with a might so fearlessly. And we'll never forget the way you thrill the nation, with your T formation. Bear down Chicago Bears, and let them know why your wearing the crown. You're the pride and joy of Illinois, Chicago Bears bear down! DA BEARS! full.bmp
stingrock23 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Congrats. You guys played a good game, we played a really crappy game. 4 turnovers vs. 0 for you guys, there's no way we could overcome that. We had our chances, and fumbled them away. We'll be better next year.
chmilo24 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 bears will win da suuuuuuuuuuuuuuper bowl!!!!!!
Real Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Since I liked both NFC teams, Bears being a childhood team for myself and the Saints just turning it around so much, that was a win win game for me. Now, my team, the Colts - better not lose this. Id rather see them lose by another touchdown than 3 points. EDIT THAT WAS THE BEST PLAY EVER! What AWARENESS!! And roughing the passer. Now if they REALLY dont capitalize Ill be really upset. BRADY OWNED~!! BRADY OWNED!!
Scaparri Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 This is a win-win situation for me. The Bears are my favorite team so I'm going to be pretty disappointed if they lose, but I've grown up around the Colts and live in Indianapolis, so it's going to be nuts if we win. Hell, it was insane tonight when we won. You could hear screams from all over, people were celebrating in the snowy streets, and even fireworks were going off. It should be good no matter what. But come on SexyRexy and da Bears!!!
lapseofreason Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Ha ha! The Patriots lost! Bill Belichik (sp?) looked SO pissed in the post-game interview, ROFL... I think now, I'll root for Chicago, because they're a team I'm pretty neutral about... oh, and I'm sick of hearing about Peyton Manning and the stupid Colts (among about 4 other teams that I loathe) and would love to see them go down in flames. -Amanda "I really don't care though... go Rams next year!" V.
mcjaco Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 It doesn't matter who wins the AFC anyway, the Saints won't be stopped. If they win Sunday, and hopefully they do, I'm going to Miami for the big game, whether or not I get a ticket. That will be silly, who are you going to root for? The Bears or the AFC team? That's easy, the Saints Muhahahahahahaha!!!!
crazyrider06 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 So the game turned out just as i thought they would. They were both really good games, and now its down to two!! I'm rooting for the bears!
Jayjay719 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I guess I'm going for the Bears, but I think the Colts will win.
Sir Clinksalot Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Well, 1 of the teams I wanted in got in. The Colts. I would have LOVED to see the Saints get in because then it would actually be a good game. The Bears have absolutely no chance to beat the Colts. LESS THAN ZERO!!! I will watch it in my hotel room in Columbus, GA (Stupid Business trip). If it had been Patriots/Bears ... I probably wouldn't have watched. Colts are already favored by 7 ... I see this going up to about 9 1/2 to 10 points.
mcjaco Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 ^ Yeah, just like all the experts predicted the Saints and the Seahawks the week before. You're all correct, the Bears have no chance....they're only the best team in the NFC, with the best defense and an average offense, which by the way actually outscored the Colts for the year. But you're all correct...this game is over already......
piggy4891 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I said the colts and bears and look what happened. I got my AFC championship shirt today and I am ready for super bowl XLI. Booyah Colts.
Sir Clinksalot Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 ^^ The Saints had inexperience. I wanted the Saints to win but I'm not shocked the Bears won. Rex Grossman SHOULD NOT EVER be a Super Bowl winning quarterback. He's gotten better as the year has progressed, I'll give you that. But when it comes to the SB your QB has to be on his game ... and if I'm picking QB's I'm taking Peyton over Rex any day of the week.
mcjaco Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 If someone picked Rex over Peyton, they must have been hit over the head with a blunt object. I'm not a huge fan of Rex, but when he plays smart the team wins. End of story, he's 15-3 and he's only played in 24 games.
stingrock23 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 You know, I thought it was a bad omen that most of the so-called "experts" were picking the Saints to win. The Bears playing at home are really tough to beat, and put a good whooping on us yesterday. The good thing is that all of our players should be back next year (assuming we re-sign Grant and Stinchcomb), and since they're still a very young team, they should only get better. Enjoy the Super Bowl, Bears fans. We'll be back next year
bigjohnson51 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Go Colts!!! I want The Colts to win so people will stop questioning Peyton Manning it's really getting old.
Real Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 If someone picked Rex over Peyton, they must have been hit over the head with a blunt object. I'm not a huge fan of Rex, but when he plays smart the team wins. End of story, he's 15-3 and he's only played in 24 games. Except about 5 of those wins he played uttlerly horrible but the defense is so outstanding they single handedly won it for them. But seriously, its a win win for me. I want the Colts, but the Bears were my childhood team. Plus I love insane defenses so I would be pleased to see them win. However, just for Peytons sake, give him the trophy!
okinawaboy11 Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Football... Go... Packers? I Second That! But since its Bears and Patriots in the Super Bowl. My pick is the Bears.
NoahTheBoa Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Its the bears and the colts I don't know who to pick, Good defense or Good Offense
Sir Clinksalot Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 ^ The Colts defense has been MUCH improved in the playoffs. Everybody thought the Chiefs were going to run circles around them (including me) but they stopped them. They beat another "Good Defense" (a BETTER defense than the Bears IMO) in the Ravens. The Ravens also have a MUCH better Offense than Da Bears. They also beat the "Chosen Ones" the Patriots. It's the Colts year.
mcjaco Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 The Bears Defense was just as good as Baltimore's up until Mike Brown and Tommie Harris went down. Mike Brown is the glue of the secondary, too bad he can't stay healthy. The Bears defense has a chip on their shoulder, which is nice to see. The last few weeks of the season you could see them really just going through the motions. Last week was what we watched the first 7 games of the year. Our offense is always questionable. I don't think you're giving them enough credit. They put up points when they need to and Robbie Gould makes scoring drives all that much shorter. This isn't the Bears of '03 and '05 where we had absolutely no offense. We've got the best O-line and two running backs that ran for 1,800 yards. You're all haters.
Coaster Palooza Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 ^Great, I will go with the Colts and the Over.
