Hello everyone! My name's Mantooth. Yup - that's my real last name! I live in Los Angeles. I thought I knew a thing or two about SFMM until I made the unfortunate mistake of posting my own, ill-informed strategy.

 

SFMM is my home park. I keep a season pass and try and get up there whenever I can.

 

It's all about the thrill rides for me. Disneyland kind of creeps me out and there ain't enough good rides at Knotts to warrent the drive. But then again, living in Southern California you get kind of spoiled.

 

Anyway, great site. I really like the reviews....especially Fantazy land.

Finally got the introducing thread.Well... hi everyone.I'm Ryu(yes i know this nickname is not original at all)and i'm 18 since recently.I'm a huge amusement parks fan and though i only visited 3 parks yet, i heard of most of them i think, including those of America... yes because as a matter of fact... well, i actually come from France!But speaking english does not bother me at all!

I've made several posts already, but I always feel the need for a bit more of a formal introduction.

 

Anyway...you can call me Mike, Michael, maXairian Mike (nickname given to me by the 2005 maXair crew), or BlueStreak64. I'm originally from Mansfield, Ohio and have been going to Cedar Point since I was born. I now reside in the middle of nowhere (aka Berne) in NE Indiana, 3+ hours away from the best park in the world. I'm a big Chicago fan (see the thread in the Random forum) and listen to almost any type of music other than hip hop and country (except Johnny Cash, 'cause he's awesome).

 

I am also on staff at Point Xtreme, and am one of the people bringing you updates on Project 2007. I'm interested in anything electronic and dabble in lighting, sound, web design, repair, photo and video editing, and being a videographer. Photography is one of my major photos (easily over 1,500 CP pictures the last two seasons), and I have a Sony Cybershot 7 MP camera, with a new telephoto conversion lens (useful for reading coaster blueprints from far away).

Well I have been reading the boards for a few months and I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Nick, im almost 22, and im not sure which park to consider my home park. I live in New Braunfels, which should make Schlitterbahn my home park, yet after working there for 2 years I have only been back once. I have a Season pass to Fiesta Texas and go there a few times every summer so that I guess is my home park. Now something none coaster related about myself........ my favorite band is Metallica and I collect everything i can with their logo on it. Just bought me a Master of Puppets barstool last week.

I'm from Indonesia but I moved to Singapore to continue my High School here.

 

Indonesia only has 2 major theme parks. One is DuFan in Jakarta and one is Jatim Park in East Java.

 

Since I lived in Indonesia, I only theme park traveling maybe once a year! It's really expensive to theme park traveling especially to Japan!

 

SERIOUSLY! It's even more expensive than USA!

 

I love roller coaster. However none of my family like it!

It's just make me disapointed!

They say it's a waste of time!

Hey. I have been a big fan for a while now reading this site and boards, and always thinking of joining. I knew I would someday. Im 19 (20 in a couple months), and consider my home park Knoebels (though I live closer to Dorney actually).

 

Basically coming here makes me laugh and what not. I'm going through a really sh*tty time in my life right now, having just been dumped after over a year in a relationship that literally saved my life, and now is gone. I know this isn't the place for rants, but basically I needed something else to occupy my time and I came over here to join since it looks like alot of fun, as do the TR's and trips the club takes, and hope to participate a little some day. Hello, my name is Kieran. I am 14 years old and I live in Columbus, Ohio. My two local parks are cedar point and PKI. (I'm much closer to pki though). I get passes to pki every year and go to cp once every year. I've been on 50 coasters this year and in my life, probably about 600.

 

I decided to join today because everyone seems to be very funny and friendly and it's clearly about something I like. In my free time I like sports, videogames, tv, computer and lots of other stuff too.
