DejaVu The Ride Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 They should just call it Goliath. This is basically the same color scheme as the one at La Ronde isn't it?
The Cheat Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Don't you remember what Snyder said? There won't be any more Goliaths for a while.
DenDen Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Hey, they got the paint on sale and are using it before its expiration date! Lets face it, the original color was UGLY! I say its nothing but a visual improvement, and nothing more. Everyone is making a big news story out of a decorating decision. And if anyone knows about decorating... (Pull out your stereotype dictionaries... ...NOW!)
Jogumpie Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Wanna know my opinion? I think it is ...cool.
texasgiantrules Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 i personally think it's fine with me...as someone had said earlier, it IS a great improvement...the old freeze was ugly. Now as ppl drive down I-whatever it is and see a red freeze...it'll make them want to investigate...i think it's a good strategy
KileyJoJoStacie Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 I Think Freeze looks great now. It was looking rusty as hell before.
riccoaster Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 i think the colors stand out too much cuse it doesnt really go with the park if you ask me i am just too used to the light blue color red just seems wrong for a ride that has freeze in its name if they change the color it should be lightish colors not dark
Wes Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 ^ PLEASE read the TPR Posting Rules. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21962 Try to make your posts a little more coherent. Proper capitalization, spelling, and grammar are very important around here.

Would you feel the same? You'll get used to it.
ChrisZer0 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Ive driven by it on I-30 for a good long while, its was just time for a paint job, plain and simple.
coastercrazy216 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Could they be changing it to a Superman ride? yeah that is probably what they are going to do, but the problem is that this ride is in the Gothem City park section and they have several rides themed to Batman. I saw on scream scape that they could be turning it into the worlds largest thermometer???
KileyJoJoStacie Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 ^ HAHA... yeah... um.. I'm don't think so... but probably half the people who have posted on this topic probably think I ride a horse to school! But... yeah... thats basically what we do down here! I dont, I grew up in Plano, you probaly ride in your Dad's Lexus
Superdasher Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Once again, Six Flags demonstrates its ability to construct a truly world-class coaster, and then ruin it with a modification. A coaster with a COLD theme...to be repainted RED?! Please! What's next, Top Thrill Dragster getting painted hot pink? Rock 'n Roller Coaster replacing the Aerosmith theming with Britney Spears theming? Super "How many changes are parks going to make this season?! Seriously?!?" Dasher
XanderLee Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 As if everyone else didn't beat this dead horse enough, you had to dig it up and beat it a little more saying the exact thing that everyone else has. Nice. Xander "Can't we just move on and have a little fun riding coasters for once" Lee
Satoshi Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 hopefully other steels won't get painted into other funny colors such as SROS would gonna be pink-ish track so on. i'm kind of worrying about SF parks are now on the trend of 'Repainting Track Colors'. at least, BTR inverts won't get changed its color, i believe.....
alpengeist04 Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Rock 'n Roller Coaster replacing the Aerosmith theming with Britney Spears theming Come on, don't even kid about that.
kraxleRIDAH Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Rock 'n Roller Coaster replacing the Aerosmith theming with Britney Spears theming Come on, don't even kid about that. No, he's not kidding. It's going to be called K-Fed's Revenge. You should see the logo artwork.
Jayjay719 Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 ^LMAO! Can you imagine? I wouldn't ride just because of its name being K-Fed!
crazyrider06 Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 ^^ lol you know you would ride it even if it was....dont even "front" lol
jakai Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 hey i hate those colors but if the ride is still as good as wen it wuz light blue then i dont care
adc9787 Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 I was at SFOT on opening day and Mr. Freeze was running just as good as ever. In fact, I have come to like the new colors. They really do look great in the sky!
Luxo Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 The person who made this decision must have been looking at the color wheel upside-down.
