Left at 4:45

Home relaxing since then!

Stressed out from 8:00 - 3 over my Organization and Management test at 2:30.

 

Did some stuff......

 

8:30 - 10:45 - was in the Computer Lab working on my Digital Imaging Final. I've been working on it since Tuesday of 4/26 and I'm 80% finished.

Got up this morning due to a hearing "Tetris music A" (AKA my cell phone)

Got myself dressed and everything

Finished up my speech outline for speech class while waiting for my friend to pick me up

Friend arrived, and we went off for classes

Arrived @ college

Hung out in arcade and finished up some math homework

Off to math for a test (which seemed easy)

Headed back to arcade and watched a few games

Left to go to Speech class and get my outline reviewed

Headed back to arcade for a couple hours and played Stepmania on my friend's laptop and ate lunch

Played some tetris before heading off to the 3 hour classs: Anthropology lab

Headed home after the class

Headed back out to the store and my brother broke the claw machine (and won something at the same time )

Went to my other friend's house and watched some random videos he had saved (Things from ebaumsworld and stuff)

Finally headed back home

Now finally on my computer....long day today.

Today started out like a pretty good day:

 

Woke up at 7am

Took kids to school at 7:50

Chatted with Robb for a few minutes

Watched 24 and most of Gilmore Girls off of the DVR

Went to Costco

Came back, finished watching Gilmore Girls and then Amazing Race

Got ready for work

Went to work at 3:30

 

Now here is where the Fit hit the Shan ...

 

Work started out okay ... then I get a Voice Mail from one of the Supervisors I deal with regarding somebody who I am training in my class ... Basically this person told her supervisor that they aren't learning anything in class, and that nobody else is either. That they want to go to a Day Shift class because of it. Well, of course the Supervisor knows she is full of Crap. I have known this Sup for more than 5 years and I have a good relationship with him. He comes and talks to me about it and I'm all WTF? I speak with my other "Learners" and they are all "WTF".

 

Basically what it comes down to is this person wants to go to day shift anyway. And is basically trying to use me as a scapegoat so she can go to Day Shift.

 

I'm like, "Hey, if you want to go to day shift you shouldn't have taken a swing shift job". Of course I can't say this, and I can't mention to this person that I think she's full of it.

 

There are 2 things you don't mess with. My livelyhood and my family. And this person "Claims" to be a Christian ...

 

This is the first time (I know it's not the last) that I have had someone like this in one of my classes. Basically I spoke with my Boss about it because I want it well documented.

 

I try to be so cool in class, hour lunches, we play games and trivia, I bring snacks and candy, etc. This just makes me want to say Screw it and be a dick about it ...

-woke up at 3:10am

-got ready for work and left house at 4:15am

-worked from 5-2

-drove home in the rain

-spent 15 minutes with my hubby

-looking for party decorations online now

-Pilates in 15 minutes

My day was interesting.

 

-Overslept my alarm by 40 minutes and had to get ready to leave for school in 5.

-Got the highest grade in the class on an honors chem test.

-I had a track meet after school. It was kind of embaressing, our school sucks at track.

-I let loose a silent but deadly fart in the middle of english class. Half the class nearly died.

-Ate 2 pieces of pizza, a cupcake, starbursts and a piece of cake for lunch.

My day consisted of many idiots on the road.

Got up, got dressed...the usual...

Drove myself to college due to my friend oversleeping (we usually alternate days and carpool)

Idiot 1: Pull out onto a busy street (roads are wet) and this guy decides to back into a driveway blocking the lane and I have traffic coming behind me.

Idiots 2, 3 and 4: On wet roads, people braking last second behind me...deja vu of me getting rearended a few months ago

Arrive at college

go to class

Head home

Idiot 5: Needle threaders! I just hate 'em!!! Cut me off, almost lost control when he was behind me so I sped up.

Got home

Friend was supposed to drop by but never called to let me know what's up

Today was my wife's birthday. She's in Indianapolis on business and couldn't talk, so I sent her a text message wishing her Happy Birthday.

 

Work was pretty busy. We spent the whole day going over wiring diagrams. That was fun.

 

I took Diana out for dinner at Wendy's. We both had chili, and we both still have all ten of our fingers.

 

That is all. Time for bed.

The guy who shares my office blew up at our lead when she asked him why he marked up a drawing in a certain way and didn't get a sufficient answer. He stormed out of the office and took a walk to cool off.

 

He's been looking for another job, and, quite honestly at this point, I wouldn't mind him finding one.

Today was a crappy Monday. At work I do the bonuses and someone complained that they didn't like the fact that I saw what they were getting on their bonus. My supervisor said, well if Kristi doesn't do it then no one will get a bonus. So that shut her up for a bit then she tried to get me in trouble by saying I didn't tell a lady the right thing but I did and had notes in our system about it so it blew up in her face. I am so sick of being nice to people and so sick of co workers being two faced!

Today was the best day EVER!!! Well, at least the best day since Sunday ...

 

That person in my class was at it again today, thought she could strong-arm me.

 

Fine, I brought the 2 supervisors down who have people in my class and we all had it out. Turns out NOBODY else in the class was feeling the way she was. It sure shut her up. Thankfully the class is over in 2 days and I will be done with her once and for all since she is going to day shift starting on Monday.

Today was packed!! Work was super busy, which is good... I hate dead time (usually when I post on the forums).

Wacom (the graphic tablet company) came by today to show off their Cintiq...which is a combination 21 inch LCD screen and tablet. It basically lets you draw on the screen. Needless to say it was amazing. The only downside, $2500!!!! I'm already scheming up ways to raise the funds, cause it was truly beatiful...it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.

Some videos were giving me shit when I was trying to compress them, so I ended up staying late.

Got home just in time to start watching the Gilmore Girls season finale, which was fantastic...until' the Tivo cut out the very last minute of the show. DAMN YOU TIVO!!! I guess I missed Loralai proposing to Luke. Oh drama.

Talked to a few friends and watched some shows I Tivo'd. Now i'm watching Conan.

Yesterday was good, I went into work an hour early (worked 5hrs instead of 4). The Service Desk had a steady flow of customers but at a few points I ended up sitting on the back counter because I got all my work done and I was bored.

 

Today...I had a wake up call by Stop & Shop asking me to come in at 10 instead of 12. (10 - 5:30). I thought it was 7 1/2hrs behind the service desk but the 10-12 is actually front end, so I agreed. Oh well, more money for me.

Today was sort of a cruise. Not much going on, work was a bit slow.
