CoasterNut17 Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 ^So, what could I do to fix it? Or would I have to wait until another update comes out? Thanks, btw! Also, do you have Tunnel Maker? I know the basics, but if I tried to build a tunnel through any terrain surface, it still blocks it off, and I've seen other coasters that use tunnel maker and don't have this issue. Can you help?
coasterlover420 Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 ^In that case, the terrain is a 3ds object where the part with the tunnel through it is just a hole in the 3ds object, so it doesn't block off the tunnel.
CoasterNut17 Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 ^Okay, if you do it that way, can you make it go below the ground level? In a normal simulation, it won't let you do that. I wonder..... Thanks!
upside down Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Heres a screen of what happens with my NoLimits. nolimits issue.bmp
hyyyper Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 whoa...i guess the problem is in your hardware...but don't know much 'bout that
mxman005 Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Alright.. I noticed something saying on an earlier page to try and use anim8tor to create objects. I have downloaded the program, and I also found a object creator. Can anybody maybe direct me to a link that has full tutorials for these. I really want to create some Egyptian objects to use with a themed coaster Im in the process of trying to complete, just missing the theming items now. Or if somebody knows a place that has a few I can download that woudl be awesome.
Ice101 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Umm okay....so switched computers. Uninstalled it on the old one. Then on the new one I downloaded the demo. Now where do I put the confirmation number with the demo
hyyyper Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I don't think you can. If i'm not mistaken you got a download link when you bought the game, that's where you need to put your reg.code
dr.gumbo Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I recently got a new laptop but when I transfered nolimits over too it I got a problem in that the simulator gets extreamly choppy when I face the camera towards extensive support work meaning I can't ride woodies or most steelies for that matter, anyone know what going on?
DBru Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I find myself spending the majority of my time on a coaster making smooth, straight lift hill. Is there a hint to this, or is a lift hill hard to make for everyone? What is the quickest/easiest way to make a good lift?
hyyyper Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Where did you put your reg. code in?/\ i believe the screen popped up when i tried to ride the sim in the full version I find myself spending the majority of my time on a coaster making smooth, straight lift hill. Is there a hint to this, or is a lift hill hard to make for everyone? What is the quickest/easiest way to make a good lift? i usually make my lift 1 segment, then split is up several times, delete the nodes in the middle untill there are 3 segments left. striaghten the middle segment by highlighting it and press "i". Then make the other segments smooth.
Across_the_Universe Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 I know I'm REALLY going to soung like a noob here, but I downloaded the demo, not realising how hard it'd be. So, how do you build anything? I dont; understand and I can;t find any good beginner's tutorials. Please help me!
hyyyper Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 http://www.nolimitscoaster.de/download.htm#helpfiles that should get u started
DBru Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Can I upload scenery items from RCT3 and use them on NoLimits?
jason10 Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 I don't mean to pile up 3 questions at once but how do you get the chain lift speed under 1kmp/h? I have seen it done of dive machine builds such as Black Halo and an Oblivion Re-creation. Please can you help me as I am currently working on a dive machine and I want it to be as realistic and interesting as possible! Thanks to the helper.
hyyyper Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 DBru: no, scenery has to be in 3ds Yankee Cannonball: make sure you have enough speed and a tight enough radius, otherwise you'll get lats jason10: i think you can use the power tweaker in the construction kit or here: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/downloads/legacy/NoLimitsPowerTweaker.zip
dr.gumbo Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 The browser that allows people to put up downloads on this website is'nt picking up a coaster I recently made on Nolimits, does anyone know why?
CCJared Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 First of all, what version of NL are you using and what web browser?
someone987 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 how can i make loops and other inversions in the newest version of no limits?
hyyyper Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 ^exactly like in all the other versions: You place nodes, drag them in the right position, alter the control points and adjust the banking. If you don't know how to do that: there's a link to a tutorial somewhere on this page
dr.gumbo Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 First of all, what version of NL are you using and what web browser? 1-1.7 2-Internet explorer Just to elaborate on the matter, it is'nt picking up any of the NL files I've downloaded since I've transfered NL to my laptop from our old computer so it is'nt to do with what version I got (I think).
Diab Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 When I try to download a no limits file it's just a bunch of coding stuff and if you stare at it to long you have an epilepsy...AHHHHH
