Zingo!
I have seen it on another (less) popular coaster site, where it's being discussed. Apparently it's old, and was on America's Funniest Videos at one time.
steel
That's a cruel video, like half the vidoes on AFV now.

ECZenith
I also found it hilarious, the kid was never in any danger he was just scared of the ride. His Mom(?) was laughing the whole time. Good comedy.

And the Mom or whatever she is sounds like shes so evil with laugh like a witch

trustkill22
I think thats a lesson to those parents that will have there kids stand on their feet to try and get on a ride. Thats was a nasty video. That kid looked like 3.

chavslayer
I feel sorry for the kid but it was funny the way the woman was just laughing and ignoring him.
thecoasterkid
Yeah, so that kid was pretty much saved by his double chin. Sweet. It honestly did look like the only reason he didn't fall off was because his chin caught that restraints...lucky he didn't break his neck that way. You couldnt possibly fall unless there was an opening.

Watching she obviously doesn't keep her feet on the rail. Her fault.
freestylenut
There's also this nasty video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MvSpPLZi_Y OMG, that one was nasty! I think I would've DIED if that was my son!
stormrider
I remember that happened at the CA state fair two years ago. He wasn't hurt badly, I've gotten more pain running and tripping than he did. Very lucky the kid didn't land in a worse way though. THEN he would be in more pain. EDIT: Talking about the youtube video link. About the help me kid: He was never in danger, just in a frightening position. I remember I was in a ride called "Hard Rock" and I felt like I betrayed amusement rides when I feared for my life by refusing to let go of the restraint. I find those kinds of experiences as fun, but only because I subconsciously know I'm safe.
coastakid
That was on a Slingshot ride. I love those rides. I'm not gonna go on one with the straps though. I like the ones with OSTR's. Actually, I would go on one with straps, but whatever....
VegasCoaster
What I want to know is how he was going to fall out of what looks like a 5 point harness, or at least something like that and why the mom was fine the entire time. It looks like he just slouched a bit though the restraint should have kept him in.
Screamomatic
My theory is that was producing to much butter and he started to slide out of his seat..

JimmyBo
I think the POV video with the "help me" kid was at the Del Mar Fair in California. I remembered something like that happening at the fair awhile back and they showed it on the evening news and then I saw it again the following year on Real TV. I dont know if it is the same video but it most likely is. I mean how many double chinned kids almost fall out of a slingshot ride, not many. coasterboy76
the little fat kid wasn't going to go anywhere, he just had the crap scared out of him. that other one was bad though, these parents really need to pay attention to those hight restrictions, if they don't have them, then by golly they need to use smart sense--"hmm is my kid as big as those kids?"
